Former Saints who could/should manage England fred...
iansums replied to SaintRobbie's topic in The Saints
Waddle took a pop at the FA but they are powerless to do anything about it. All the power is now with the PL and they don't give two hoots about England. We need to limit the number of foreign players and the number of games for a start. The PL won't agree to that. -

Redknapp, with all his dodgy dealings, the press would have a field day. I think Hodgson is the only suitable candidate. -

Saw Kenny Samson on Sky Sports last night. He was asked: Q. "Should Capello go?" A. "Yes, I would like to see an English manager" Q. "Who?" A. "Erm, well, yes, erm................................." It's all very well blaming Capello, but how about blaming the players? -
A £1000 TV will cost you an extra £25. No big deal, but will raise a lot of money. This is a good move and brings us in line with the rest of the EU.

Unlike many on here I was quite pleased when the membership was stopped last year. I will be disappointed if it is re-introduced as I'm dispappointed by the £3 booking fee. However I won't be whinging and throwing my toys out the pram,I'll just accept it.

Typical lefties. If someone comes out with less than favourable comments about the unions then they are 'nazis', brilliant.

Well it looks like Green could be dropped in favour of James: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/jun/18/world-cup-2010-david-james-goalkeeper I have to say once this World Cup is out of the way I would make Joe Hart the No. 1.

The Official Summer Transfers and HCDAJFU Thread

I was on the same flight to Paris as Robert Pires a couple of days after the 2003 Cup Final. I should have asked him then if we was coming to Saints. TBH I was too angry with the guy to be civil! -
Well it'll be that then. Sorry for my extreme negativity, but I'm trying to outdo nickh here.
-
Sorry, but I am now an 'expert' on this matter. Poopey have had their punishment of -9 points, there will be no more punishments. They will exit admin as planned with the CVA. HMRC will not appeal. The only real experts on here are myself and nickh !!!
-
So you're the 'expert' to be believed. By the way where are smiley things now?
-
And people talk about AA as if he's some sort of Muppet. He appears to be doing a bloody good job for them.
-
Not wishing to sound like nickh here but they've got the CVA despite many on here saying they wouldn't, they're going to get away with this!!

Nice one. Two home games before I go on holiday. I bet MKD are looking forward to their 5th match against us in 12 months!!! -

We won't I'm afraid. Stevenage will be knocking them out in the first round. -
Carling cup round 1 draw details - Bournemouth at home
iansums replied to dellboypete's topic in The Saints
Why? Look at it from their point of view. They're 30 miles away from us, have mostly been in the 3rd/4th tier compared to us mostly 1st. We are a massive local neighbours to them so of course they're looking forward to playing us. Look on it as a mark of respect, flattery even. -

Living close to Bournemouth this is a great draw for me, as long as we win of course. I think they will take a lot more than 2,500 when you consider it's only 45 mins from Bournemouth and how much it means to them. -
Interesting that saints valued him at £100K, this seems a little on the low side. However you can see that NC is keeping a very tight control on the purse strings, quite right too.

really good

Feel a bit sorry for Harding as I thought he was excellent last season. However it does show massive intent on our part and gives us a few options. Now for a couple of quality RB's.
-
Ban the f***ing things! If the South Africans want them in their own games fair enough but don't ruin it for everyone else.

Totally agree, the worst commentator on TV.
