  1. Oh the big balls of the EPL. Instead of saying NO! they pass the buck on to FIFA. F****** joke!
  2. Can you repeat that.
  3. So we all believe Pompey to be insolvent. The courts believe Pompey to be insolvent. Even Vantis appointed by them believe Pompey to be insolvent. This has become a symbolic struggle for our fishy friends... ... symbolic of their struggle against reality.
  4. BBC link: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/p/portsmouth/8522283.stm The 'transfer window' rule is FIFA's, not the PL's. Do they really think that FIFA are going to waive the rule just for them.
  5. I think that is the case. If you at the stadium plan the lowest level i.e. nearest the pitch is split into three sections and that is why there are three price bands: £24 low section nearest the pitch £34 mid section £44 upper section Upper section for me.
  6. Don't worry B5 it's not you. However, I think I will take a look back at your previous posts and see if you are another miserable moaning ****. If you are then you're going on the list!
  7. 50% correct
  8. There a couple of members who have posted on this thread which was I think aimed at them among others. They are both on my ignore list. the thing is I really want to know what the have posted. should I take them off my ignore list. Decisions, decisions!!
  9. Tend to agree with much of what you say. The trouble is like many football forum's we have our fair share of serial moaners, I've decided to put them on my ignore list. The shirt issue is a classic case. The club are trying to do something special to celebrate the 125 year anniversary. Personally, I would prefer to see a striped shirt rather than the sash as has been suggested. However, if it is to be a sash then fine, I have no problem with that. Unfortunately, others will kick off over it. But when you look at where Poopey are now and where we were a year ago, thank God for Markus Liebherr.
  10. I've got a good idea how the club is looking:
  11. The pigeon has refused to do it.........................he hasn't been paid for the last job.
  12. Why? What's happening on Friday? The court hearing is on March 1st
  13. +1 Car to Richmond, tube to Wembley.
  14. If we were able to sell more than the 44,000 and this were the case it would be a real shame and financial madness. Let's face it why would you not want to sell tickets for seats that would otherwise be empty. I would hope that Wembley had learnt a lesson from what happened with Luton last year.
  15. Yeah, like he knew about Kaboul going to Spurs a few weeks ago.
  16. Can you tell me why your attendances are so poor?
  17. And it's mostly down to lack of power. The left footed volley from about 10 yds out in the second half, a bit of power in that shot and it would have been a goal.
  18. Thought Hammond and Lambert were immense today. Lallana played well but too many poorly hit efforts on goal. I just hope we can play like that for the rest of the season.
  19. Can you let me know if they say something nice, they're on my ignore list
  20. It never fails to surprise me how mis-informed the national press are when it comes to Saints and our problems last year. Perhaps I should just stick to reading the Echo.... ... I'll get my coat!
  21. Yes, I understand that. However, the Guardian are suggesting that the debts were paid in full. I thought ML paid just a percentage of that, an amount which satisfied the creditors, Aviva being the main one.
  22. Which? My take on it or the Guardian's?
  23. Just read this article on the Guardian website: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/david-conn-inside-sport-blog/2010/feb/10/portsmouth-cardiff-hmrc-winding-up 'except at Southampton, where last year Markus Liebherr paid Saints' debts in full' I did not think that was the case at all. I thougt he paid approx. £12M for the club most of which was paid to Aviva for the stadium even though the outstanding amount was approx. £22M?
  24. Someone find David Luker's email address.
  25. Sorry, but he was very lucky to stay on the pitch. the booking could easily have been a red card and I was amazed he did not get a yellow after AL was fouled. We were lucky we didn't have an over fussy ref. Yes, I admire his fight and passion but he stepped over the line last night. On another day that could cost us dear.
