  1. Just got off the phone to the TO as I was chasing delivery of my Leeds ticket. Lady told me there were still 24 poor sods in the queue waiting to be told they had sold out. She said that the club were trying to get more tickets.
  2. Me and a mate were their that day, I was 14. Stuck in the Forest end in a section of Saints fans. It turned ugly just after half-time when we realised most of the Saints fans had buggered off up the other end. Two 14 year olds being threatened by Forest fans.
  3. I wish you lot would get off the line. I'm trying to phone the TO to find out what's happened to my Leeds ticket that I ordered a week ago. What do you do if your missing doesn't arrive in the post, can you get a replacement before the game?
  4. Totally agree. It will be absolutely ridiculous if no more seats are made available.
  5. AP should have gone in there and said "that's a lovely shade of pink you're wearing and you look a lot taller close-up".
  6. I think John B was suggesting that I was starting to sound like an HC. Of course people who don't attend matches should be able to post but it would be nice if the 'back from the game' thread was just that.
  7. All the songs aimed at the ref are a good laugh but could we having an effect on his decisions? Let's face it short blokes can be very self-conscious about their height and the pi**-take could very well have made a difference on the penalty decisions. So thanks Saints fans, you cost us the game. Perhaps next time you should sing "We all love the referee".
  8. Someone has quoted him again and I am going to have to respond. GS, what you (and Alpine) clearly don't understand is that it's not the fact that you have opposing views, rather the way you express them and how that the majority of the time they are negative. You come across as someone who revels in the negativity and almost seem to enjoy moaning. Do you actually gain any pleasure from this forum? For me as someone who rarely attends away games it is always interesting to read the 'Back from the game' thread to see the balanced views of those who actually attend the game. It's a shame when these threads get hijacked by the whingers who didn't attend. I don't consider myself to be a happy clappy. Back in December I was of the opinion that although we were winning games we were playing poorly. That performance level has improved and I believe we are now playing well. But there is still more room for improvement. However I am thoroughly enjoying this season and I make no apology for that.
  9. You have no right to such an opinion with less than 100 posts! Seriously though I agree with you 100%. I think the problem is that only a very small minority, perhaps just half a dozen posters are serial whingers. I've put some of them on ignore but others keep on quoting them
  10. Surely it's not going to be another 1-1 away draw?
  11. Can't quote him directly but....who are you and what have you done with Alpine Saint?
  12. ....and the third time you got it wrong. We played them Tuesday mate, won 5-0, didn't you know?
  13. Don't get me started on Health & Safety !!
  14. I still don't why they cannot offer us more tickets if we sell out. If you look at this: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1969536,00.html and then this: http://www.carlisleunited.co.uk/staticFiles/87/49/0,,10361~149895,00.pdf What is the problem in selling blocks 517-524 to Saints fans?
  15. Post of the decade! :smt041
  16. I think you mean Walsall, it was 0-0 v Wycombe.
  17. Magnificent performace from the whole team last night. It seems unfair to single anyone out but I have to mention Fonte and Puncheon. Fonte is class and it's no coincedence that since he arrived we are beginning to keep clean sheets. Puncheon, also class, how refreshing to see a player so comfortable with both feet.
  18. Many thanks for the 01271 number, just got my ticket, been trying for 1 1/4 hours. Block 548 - 550 for me.
  19. An old boy with two 'grown up' children who worked for me once said to me: "It doesn't matter how old they are you never stop being a parent". Whatever AP's problems are I hope he resolves them soon. The speculation on here over the weekend worried the hell out of me.
  20. It's here: http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/8499097.stm
  21. He's been reading Alpine and Glasgow's posts. My advice to AP is to put them on ignore.
  22. I do very much agree with this point, but we are not far short.
  23. IF GS didn't have any fingers he wouldn't be able to type his negative drivel.
  24. I think the form from the beginning of this year gives us the best indication of how we'll do next season. Seeing as we are looking at statistics, in the 8 games that Fonte has played we are unbeaten and have had 4 clean sheets and conceded just 4 goals. I think that Fonte could possibly be our most crucial signing of all.
  25. Come on guys, we should be uniting against the common enemy!
