Not sure I agree with this. We have already lost some of the high earners on CCC wages and will hopefully lose one or to more. We also no longer have to pay mortgage payments on the stadium (£4M p/a I believe?) and attendances are up on last season. Also I seem to remember reading that transfers would be funded by ML himself just like the training ground development. So I see no reason why we should be running at a loss. We certainly won't have a debt of £22M like Norwich.

I think our current problems are more to do with the midfield rather than the defence. We need a holding midfielder to protect the back four.

Murty IS struggling with injuries. I'd have thought a decent RB is a high priority. Clearly AP had suspicions about Murty's injury problems which is why he signed him on a specific contract.

No disgrace in losing 1-0 to the league leaders. Just need to get a couple of good results before the end of the year. The good thing is that we are still 9 pts from the play-off places so we have not lost any ground on the real target.

The more I see of the situation at other clubs such as Notts County, Poopey, Liverpool even and the longer this season goes on the more grateful I am to Markus Liebherr. I think we have been very, very lucky.

The only problem with the Mayflower is that you can't pre-book your tub of ice cream for the interval Seriously though the club are probably not getting value for money for the website because a lot of fans don't bother with it and phone or walk up for their tickets and this defeats the object.

Also, what has happened to booking car park on-line? This has disapppeared. I have to say the on-line booking is a big let down when compared to some of these theatre web sites like the Mayflower where you can choose exactly where you want to sit.

My maths were the same until this point. I think December will be an interesting: 4 supposedly easier games and two tough away games against teams in the top three. To keep on target we need a minimum of 4 wins and a draw. It's tough, but no reason why we can't get this.

Fact is we are 3 points further from the play-offs than we were at the start of the season. If you look at the final play-off place it will be approx. 75 points. For us to reach that total we will need 2.1 pts per game. If you look at our last 12 games where have been on a 'good run' we have got 22 pts (1.8 pts per game). This means we have to improve drastically to make the play-offs. Personally, I think this is too much. The 10 point deduction and the poor start to the season will probably be too big a hurdle. However, let's just enjoy the season and see how high we can get. Don't you just love statistics.
