  1. Thanks for the replies so far. Nobody seems to be using Xperia? I don't need 3G (or 4G) just WiFi. The lack of on-board memory is the only reason I didn't go straight for the Nexus. You can drop a 64gig card into the Xperia. Having said that I do have my own "cloud" (a 2TB external drive plugged into a USB port on my router) so it might not really be an issue. I can configure the router to give access via the WAN if I need to. However once I started reading the reviews I did pick up on a couple of good points about the Xperia. It has an IR port so you can use it as a TV remote (handy, but does it actually work). And it's waterproof so I can spend all my Saturday afternoons in the pool sipping cocktails while watching Saints.
  2. Any comments from hands-on users? I'm looking to pick a new one up. It won't be Apple so I don't need to know about I-pads. It will be an Android-driven device. I'm considering the Xperia z Anybody using one? Or the Google Nexus. 10" tablets not smart phones.
  3. That's the old-fashioned way, where the route to the first team for promising youngsters is blocked by "journeymen". I don't think we do that anymore.
  4. Don't cut the pipes in your fridge with serrated knives. HTH
  5. Does the Hub have Wireless MAC filtering option? Using that in addition to WEP will give you more security from casual hackers just looking to steal your bandwith or share your porn. A determined hacker will get in whatever you do.
  6. People on here have mates?
  7. Isn't France a UK country? Didn't we win it at Agincourt?
  8. I'm sure the Chelsea fans were saying exactly the same when they sent that crap striker Lukaku out on loan for a season.
  9. How about we sign pacy teenage sensation Lloyd Isgrove on the right for £10m. Would that keep you lot happy?
  10. I wonder if old Nick has any opinion on that?
  11. If you send us some pictures I'll give it a go.

    Victor Moses

He would fit in well on here then
  13. Didn't we play Newcastle last year after their euro game
  14. Putting everything else to one side, if I read it correctly the claimant isn't actually the tenant in the lease, and may not actually have paid the deposit in the first place.
  15. They are shares, they're just not shares in Portsmouth Football Club. The fans that bought those "shares" own the football club in the same way that anybody in a decent pension scheme owns British Airways, ICI and Anglo American.
  16. I know I shouldn't, but it's hard not to laugh
  17. There's something almost poetic about half a dozen professional footballers reaching retirement age and finding out that they actually own their own football stadium, isn't there?
  18. Yeah but so does Rickie at the moment
  19. Be fair, they're only 50 or so places below Brighton. And Bournemouth. They could easily make that up in a couple of decades.
  20. Don't forget Carroll doesn't play for a top six club anymore
  21. So, let me get this straight. You solve the alcohol addiction problem by making it harder to get and solve the drug addiction problem by making them easier to get? Riiiiiiiight.

    p.s there may be

The bookies are cooling down a bit, drifted out from 8/13 to 4/6 in the last couple of hours, with West Brom back in from 5/2 to 7/4
  23. According to that sportsclubstats website our most likely finishing position is 1st (9% chance). We have a 31.7% chance of qualifying for the CL, and we are 6.4% likely to be relegated. Arsenal's most likely finishing position is 19th or 20th (=8%) I think that might change as the season progresses.
  24. I think that should be Neither Puncheon nor Guly... Just sayin'
  25. Yep, that's what Mr Cortese said in an interview after the released list. He said no player would be sold unless they asked to leave.
