    It's a boy

"a truly democratic and equitable system" only exists in people's imagination.

Agreed, they probably pay more than 7m a day in VAT alone
  3. Wham are offering a pony in a plain brown envelope. We're offering part of a pony wrapped in a bedsheet. Allegedly.
  4. Yeah maybe, but Pompey fans also reckon they will send some of the players they have just signed on a free because they were "without a club" out on loan to generate funds to pay for a couple of new players. They haven't really got to grips with this ownership/management malarkey yet.
  5. We only need to draw to retain the Ashes. Let the heavens open.
  6. Like some have said, his problem is in his head not his feet. Take the armband away.
  7. So let me get this right, is Japan planning to move into Welwyn Garden City?
  8. You wouldn't get to 46°C if you added together the max temperature in Centurion every day this week so far. It's bloody freezing.
  9. So it would seem our best 11 at the moment is Boruc Clyne Yoshida Lovren Shaw Cork Schneiderlin Wanyama Ramirez Rodriguez & Lambert with Chambers Hooiveld S.Davis JWP Puncheon Lallana & Isgrove in contention.
  10. Seems like a very long time ago, but I'm pretty sure we weren't in admin, and didn't have a CVA. The parent Co. was in admin, but I suspect that was eventually wound up after it sold the football club to Markus.

    Cisse / Wonga

He's just looking to get out. The charging of interest is against his muslim religious principles, but if that bothered him then he would have had the same issues with the sponsors of the Premier League that he does with Wonga.
  12. You lot are just plain farking weird.

Do we know if she's breast feeding? I normally get quite peckish around 11 am.
  14. Don't wear that tee shirt with the dartboard printed on the back mate.
  15. I'm sure there are loads of other places that we haven't got pages up and running for as well.
  16. Have Printed Circuit Boards really become Plastic Circuit Boards?
  17. And the revolution just goes on and on. Not only are they leading the way in world football with a completely new ownership model, but they now seem to have revolutionised team building and selection as well. We didn't realise when nondescript Guy Whittingham arrived on the scene that he had a masterplan to turn football on it's head, to assemble a group of unemployed former professionals for free, not a single penny, and mould them into a new power in league football. It is true that they got off to a slow start, with comfortable wins against non-league sides Havant & Waterlooville and then Bognor Regis, but then people began to sit up and take notice when they pulled off a totally unexpected draw against non-league Braintree, completely against all the odds. Since then they have gone from strength to strength, with back to back defeats against proper football league teams. You could hear the sighs of relief on Portsea Island all the way to Gosport when the news broke that Barcelona would not be taking Big Guy to La Liga after all. In fact they are now so confident that they have decided to raise their cast-iron player budget limit already, to add yet another unemployed former non-league player to their growing ranks. Where will it all end?
  18. I can pretty much guarantee that we won't lose at home to Wigan in the opening games this season.

Glasgow airport has had automatic sliding doors since it was opened 47 years ago. We used to ride our bikes along the pavement outside the front of the terminal just to watch the doors open and close.
  20. In that case, can I be West Ham?
  21. Aah sorry, I didn't realise that all I needed was a good dose of personal abuse to make me see that I don't really find the serial moaning tiresome at all. Particularly as it's aimed at comments I didn't actually make. And I'm sure that where I live now is very relevant, because if I still lived in Swaythling, or Portswood, or Bitterne or Eastleigh the whingeing would be very acceptable.
  22. Wanyama? He was only 21 on 1st January this year I think
