No yellow for Hammond was a big plus. When is the cut-off?
-
I think it's divided - GBS. We're separated by the North Atlantic. I can get very pedantic this late at night.
-
OT, but Reading won, so Skates effectively 10 points off the play-offs with 7 games to go. Que Sera, Sera, we're going to Fratton Park?
-
Anybody remember what it used to feel like going into the last 10 minutes only 2 goals up?
-
I've only smoked half of it. Should I put it out & save the other half for later?
-
Time for a smoke

Shouldn't that be either idnkwtfyata or idkwtfyta? Either abbreviate or not. Consistency please

Try this one instead

The trouble with match threads is that most people posting aren't at the game. I've been to games where you know that when you go a goal down, you're dead and buried. And I've been to others wher you know that if you go a goal down you've got a damned good chance of turning it around. Our problem is that we don't get any match commentary from SaintsPlayer. We just get 2 summarisers, so we don't really have a clue how the teams are actually performing. IMHO

Without thinking too far back, the win away at Exeter a couple of months ago was probably up there with this one in the context of this season.
-
No need to worry, Eric. This was taken just before the game.

It wasn't their cup final, though, was it?

Team news - whispering Dave is being rested. Doesn't even make the bench.

That's a very, very far-fetched journalistic interpretation. I think what he meant to say was either: IF form over the last 10 matches is replicated in the run-in to the end of the season, Southampton will finish second, or IF only Posh's form over the last 10 matches is replicated in the run-in to the end of the season, but nobody else's is, Posh will finish second

No Ifs, No Buts, We Have To Win Tomorrow To Go 2nd!!!
hutch replied to dannysfc's topic in The Saints
If they draw twice, we'll still be above them with 3 games in hand if we win tonight. -
Back to the point for a moment, Gaddafi won't have forgotten that US carrier-borne F14s shot down a couple of his MIGs over the Gulf of Sirte a few years ago.

Laptops a bit more tricky. I don't usually open them up, except to fit new components through the removeable access covers (HDD or RAM). It does sound as if the GPU is overheating. Games are notoriously hard on graphics cards (although most laptops don't have a card per se, they have a graphics chip on the MoBo), and the fact that the problem goes away if you shift focus away from the game is a clue. I would start by googling your laptop model number & GPU overheating (like variations of "acer travelmate 4200 gpu overheating"), and see if others have had the problem & found a solution.

All Aboard Please ding ding

OK I'll take the bait, I'm bored today. Why is that?
-
My first guess would be overheating. A good blowout & check none of the grilles are obstructed. Try running it with the case open, to see if it goes away. That usually confirms an overheating GPU issue.

I assume we'll send one of our carriers over to patrol the coast

If "must win" means "get more points than Peterborough & Huddersfield would be great, get the same as them would be just about OK, and less than either of them would ramp up the pressure on us for the rest of the season", then this is a must win game for Saints.
