Oops they did it again - Match Fixing in 4th Test
hutch replied to dubai_phil's topic in General Sports
Nice sash kit on the bloke following him at Heathrow as well. Not one of ours, but it did make me look twice. -
Wow, so it's not just a username, then? Don't post the scores, you might put the others off from going.

Can't ask for a lot more in his first full month in charge, really. Well done!

3-1 wins away from home. Forum going tits-up when we score. Brian Stock CDAJFU threads. Normal service has been resumed at SWF.

Sign Guly & Chaplow in January. Maybe Bignal or similar, although we've got Doble waiting in the wings. What more do we really need (as opposed to want)? Time to stop gelling and start playing. Our squad is already way good enough to get out of this league.

Score a goal and take his shirt off ought to do it

I'm surprised there's so much indignance on here. The service provided is absolutely normal for any service which is a) a monopoly, and b) paid for in advance. I had an interesting experience last Saturday. I was listening from a hotel room in Cotonou and the "live" commentary was at least 5 minutes behind the game. I read about Oxo's goal on here more than 5 minutes before he scored it. It did dispense with the "squeaky bum" time at the end. I already knew they wouldn't score in the 5 minutes added on before it even started.

I think you mean Dave. Stuey was banned, I think, so he couldn't have been there, could he? I also remember that he swore that he never, ever, went to Southampton, especially St. Mary's, so it was absolutely impossible for him to get a ticket without paying the extra on-line booking fee. So I think you, and Nic, can rest assured that he wasn't there.

How many yellows is that now for Morgan?

Sounded like the ref was a problem today as well, again. Should possibly have been a bit more comfortable.

Still 1-1 here on Saints Player. You're not winding me up are you?

Just logged on from my hotel room to catch up. I was about to order a bottle of champagne from room service, but I think I'll stick with the Muscadet for the time being. My opinion FWIW (and I know that's not much) is that this is a pathetic amateurish attempt by Chanamakikou to force the FL to reduce their 4 requirements. I hope they "man up". By all means let Chainrai have the club. They deserve one another. But he must pay for it. By that I mean pay all the outstanding debts. I haven't seen what the 4 requirements are, but I expect the FL want unconditional guarantees that the football creditors and the beneficiaries of the CVA will get their money when it is due, however inconvenient that might be to the few's push for promotion back to the PL. And I don't think that's what's contained in the proposals tabled by Chanamakikou to the FL. They've got until a week on Sunday to sort it out. That's when the wages are due. It IS all about cash.

The Spending Review (tackling the Socialists debt mountain)

All your C Class Mercs are made here too. And your Toyota pick up trucks. Bet you didn't know that. -
I don't believe so. The following is taken from Mann's Judgement: 17. After several weeks of the administration, the administrators entered into an agreement with the Premier League for the payment of sums to them by the League to finance the continuation of the club’s activities. It was dated 18th March 2010. It was agreed that the League would pay an Advance of sums to which the club would be entitled from the League’s funds for 2011 (i.e. the next year). There were to be three payments of £2m (roughly monthly) and a fourth of some £886,000 odd. It was a term of the agreement that the sums would be used to pay player wages. so I guess it's probably accurate.

I knew everything was going to be OK when I saw that bloke turn up carrying some chicken, a pair of slippers and a fishing rod on Sky News. He looked familiar!

That will be the last thing you do. It will depend on the hardware installed (number of HDDs, optical drives, etc) and some graphics cards have quite high power demands, needing 2 power connections on the card. IMO 500W isn't plenty, it's close to the absolute minimum, if not below, for a decent modern computer. As Badger hinted, the "quoted" output can be misleading. Best to stay away from unbranded units and go for a name. Personally I prefer Antec. I recently had to swap out my sons PSU for a 550W unit, and his is a fairly basic desktop with single HDD and optical drive with an Nvidia 6800 card. My advice is in order to "futureproof" your new computer, don't skimp on the components. Spend a few quid more on each component and it will last longer. I built my desktop in 2004, and it's still going strong, although I intend to replace it within the next 12 months. I got a new laptop recently running WIN7 64bit and I'm very impressed.

In many East African countries, the day starts at what we call 6am. So you can be called to meetings starting at 4am, which is actually 10am to you and me. And in Ethiopia, it is now 2003. They have a different calendar, with 13 months in every year. It can get very confusing.

There are some parts of the world that work in 30 minute differences. India springs to mind. There are probably others.

I've built 4. Best source of information for me is the forum at abxzone.com You'll find most of the hardware options covered on there. And, in my experience, stay away from ATI graphics cards. Never had a good experience with one, and never had a bad experience with an Nvidia card. Make sure your PSU is big enough. If your data is important, consider fitting more than 1 HDD

You have to love football fan forums. The language is so eloquent.

Can we get DM to give a live commentry on Solent on how it's going? "What Steve doesn't want to do now, Adam, is let the server slow down" "When I was a coach, Adam, we made the servers work hard right through the game"
