  1. To help them win some property mandates. It's obvious. I know someone.
  2. We did try to play that shape at times against Cardiff. We defended as 352 but when we had the ball Stephens often pushed up alongside Romeu and it was more like two centre backs with a midfield 2 in front. To be honest, I don't think changing the system will make tii much difference. It was lack of quality in the final third and poor concentration in defence that cost us.
  3. It's probably true. Look at all those football clubs Taylor Wimpey and Arup are buying up so they can carry out unconnected property development.

  5. It's Spurs though.
  6. Well, it depends on the source of his repayment funds doesn't it? You could buy a company with debt and use dirty money to repay the debt. Then you end up with a clean asset. That would very much be a type of money laundering. I'm not saying he has done that. I have no idea what the source of his money is. All we know is that he was a significant witness in a corruption trial in China and apparently he failed the ownership tests first time round. Plus what was ostensibly his main source of wealth in China, Lander, appears to have gone to ****. And he doesn't appear to have any plan or vision, other than trying to leverage his profile in Asia. On the face of it, and based on what he's done so far, he appears to be a terrible owner and the personification of the increasing ****eness of English football. There is no English football league, there is only football played in England.
  7. Some of them will take you to court. In fact, it was Parking Eye taking someone to court which contributed to the change in law around liquidated damages / unenforceable penalties which I referred to previously. The worst thing to do, in my opinion, would be to ignore it. You should pay it or contest it.
  8. I see Mbappe has donated 30k Euro to the family of the pilot to help with their search. How much have Cardiff City donated to his family?
  9. Kat and Gao have no clue or sensible ambition and are financial small-fry in relative terms to other owners. Ralph is a waste of space. Les hasn't been replaced. Thank goodness we've got a decent manager, but it is about the only positive throughout the club at the moment.
  10. Gazza has excellent distribution.
  11. Gao is a *****.
  12. That's pathetic. Shocking
  13. We're playing quite well as a unit but the lack of quality in the final third is hurting us.
  14. Point 3 is out of date. The law on penalty charges has evolved recently. It doesn't have to be a fair pre-estimate of loss. If you want to try to avoid paying, your best bet is to say the signs weren't clear or prominent enough. Most companies let people off a first offence if you make it clear you will be a pain in their backside.
  15. It's OK, we'll add a couple in the January window.
  16. Why? He's typically one of our worst players and Bertrand is a lot better.
  17. Don't really like that team. Wish Armstrong was in there. Not sure we have many other options though. Lots of emphasis on JWP linking midfield and attack. Don't want to see a flat midfield and two isolated forwards like we did against Palace.
  18. Good.
  19. He didn't say that. He said that someone who believes those things can be expected to have voted leave. That's an entirely different proposition than saying that everyone who voted leave believes in those things. Simple logic, Les.
  20. Lol. Long hits a lazy, hopeful chip which the keeper makes a mess of and suddenly he's worth a place in the team for his crossing skills? I agree with the idea of having JWP as wing back though.
  21. Are you saying we should ask the European Court of Justice to help us? #takebackcontrol
  22. You aren't obliged to keep someone on forever if they aren't well enough to do their job. It's quite possible we have reached an agreement with him along those lines.
  23. Targett is much, much worse. If Bertrand is fit, he should play.
  24. Cardiff being ****s by the sound of it.
