  1. Runs out next summer doesn't it, so if he won't sign a new one we would be looking to sell for that reason alone.
  2. Does anyone really think Corbyn wants to be PM? He'd be a broken shell within a month, a patsy for his loony mates. I bet he's absolutely ****ting himself.
  3. Has Skacel signed?
  4. Agree completely. Likewise, JWP can do a job in centre midfield when the entire team is playing deep in our half but see how he does in a home match against opposition happy to sit back and hit us on the bench when people are running past him or pressing him. We have one decent deep lying midfielder (Romeu) and one dependable striker (Ings). With Yoshida absent we are also one injury / suspension away from having Ramsey at centre back (assuming Hoedt is out). If there is someone available who Ralph thinks will strengthen us and we can get them on reasonable wages and fee, then we should.
  5. They haven't sacked him.
  6. That's an interesting one because Nando's is Portuguese but the peri-peri chilli is an African chilli which was then spread by the Lusophone empire-builders to other parts of the world, including India. Could end up being cheaper if Nando's UK can bring it's peri-peri directly into the UK from India or Africa and we're out of a customs union. I was undecided on Brexit before but it's useful, real-life examples like this that help one make one's mind up.
  7. Whenever Vestergaard plays in a back 4 for us he looks nervous and guff though.
  8. Any chance of Bertrand being fit? Would be good to give him time to build up for Saturday. If we stick to 3 at the back he could play there to give him less running. I'm guessing Ramsey will get a start. Gunn too. Central midfield is pretty thin without Lemina or PEH and I think he'll want to keep Romeu fresh, so presumably Slattery will also get another start. I'd start Long. Hopefully the performance today gives him some confidence. Maybe Gallagher or Sims and Armstrong behind him with Redmond on the bench if needed. Edit: if Gallagher and Sims aren't eligible then Elyonnousi.
  9. 3 each, isn't it?
  10. He's tugging off Armstrong, as I said I would.
  11. JWP gone to wing back according to Merrington.
  12. I'd keep the back shape and so do exactly that. Vestergaard and Bednarek both look much more comfortable in a back 3.
  13. Shame he couldn't get to half time as surely Cedric would have come on. TBH, Cedric should be starting anyway. Anyway, goal machine Long to the rescue. So, what do we do second half? Go to a 441 or a 531? The way I see it, you either shuffle Stephens across to RB in a 4 and pull Redmond and Armstrong wider, or you put Cedric in and sacrifice Armstrong or Redmond. I'd probably lean towards the second option and tug off Armstrong.
  14. Hopeful that after a clear week of training we can get a result today. Ralph should have a plan for the game and if the players can execute then we should have a decent chance even with the absences. Big day today with the rest of the bottom 5 playing each other. Would be great to pick up a point or better.
  15. Dixon and Speedie.
  16. Presume that's consistent with bans for similar offences?
  17. I'm fine. Really. He's a good boss.
  18. Edit.
  19. Edit.
  20. Red flag, approx 60cm by 40cm (guess), complete with original wooden flag pole for waving. Somewhat crinkled. Anyone want to buy it?
