He didn't say that. He said that someone who believes those things can be expected to have voted leave. That's an entirely different proposition than saying that everyone who voted leave believes in those things. Simple logic, Les.

Lol. Long hits a lazy, hopeful chip which the keeper makes a mess of and suddenly he's worth a place in the team for his crossing skills? I agree with the idea of having JWP as wing back though.

Are you saying we should ask the European Court of Justice to help us? #takebackcontrol

You aren't obliged to keep someone on forever if they aren't well enough to do their job. It's quite possible we have reached an agreement with him along those lines.
-
Targett is much, much worse. If Bertrand is fit, he should play.

Cardiff being ****s by the sound of it.
-
Wee Ross is still walking gingerly.
-
You also said he was leaving last week, I think.
-
Walcott is crap, and has been for years.
-
More likely, he wasn't playing because we were trying flog him, but now the window has shut. Or, perhaps more likely still, he was injured but now he's nearly better

I know this is a bit morbid but I was reading up on the Challenger shuttle explosion recently. I had never realised that the crew compartment survived the explosion intact. It then fell into the sea, which is probably when the astronauts died. Horrible.

Same here. I only noticed Guly was black towards the end of our Championship season. Crazy, huh!

Man says something provocative to market ****e derivative film. Next.

Fair do's. China and Turkey. #goldstandard

Only 100 ITK points for me in the end then.

I generally agree but I can't see this 4222 being used this season. I think we're a centre back, a right back, a midfielder and a striker short of being able to play that system effectively.
-
Yeah, he was generally pretty anonymous. Fair play for getting into the box and a good finish but I would have rather have had Armstrong out there from the start. Given we haven't replaced Cedric, maybe he can make the right wing back position his for the remainder of the season.

Ie. There aren't any new press rumours and the window is closing soon.

And even if there wasn't all that history, this Article is invoked by people who want low tariff trade with the rest of the world. All being equal, why would the EU grandfather the EU trade and customs arrangements with a third party with which it shares a border which simultaneously wants to actively promote it's own low-tariff imports from the rest of the world? Answer: it wouldn't. Viz. Turkey, the EEA countries etc. and the rules on collectivism when it comes to outside trade agreements. You want the arrangements, you make payments and you agree to other restrictions / freedoms.

Not when you're trying to take a throw in and they are stopping you and they're known for being a hot-headed little fanny.

Just watched the highlights for the first time. Didn't think Stephens was a red. Whilst studs were slightly up it was one footed and it was a slide, not a "launch" sort of tackle, with fairly minimal contact. You see plenty of those which aren't a red. Like the one on Targett by Wan-Bissaka. Their number 4 did something similar, I think, which wasn't shown. Still not sure about McCarthy. I think that could have been saved. What's the penalty appeal their fans were going on about? MoTD didn't even bother showing it. The Zaha / JWP incident wasn't a foul. JWP had arms on but it was 50/50. The way Zaha tried to make out he'd been elbowed or something just shows what a helmet he is. Also, Lolz at the miserable blanket brigade in the Kingsland getting worked up about JWP not being passed to just before he scored.

I was talking about the pre red card actions. The poster replied to originally said JWP was in the wrong. He wasn't. The fist pump, whatever, is irrelevant. The ball was dead and the card had been shown and it had no impact on anyone. It was just interaction with our crowd. I thought Ronaldo was a cnt. I have always thought he was a cnt for a number of reasons. I would put his little wink way down the list!
-
It depends on the system. JWP is better in a deeper role and Armstrong is much better if we play 3421. If we don't sign a right back today then I expect JWP to get quite a few minutes at wing back for the rest of the season.
-
"game changer" ? What are you on about? It was right near the end of the match. The definitive moment for us was when Armstrong came on and provided a link between midfield and attack for the first time.
-
Indeed. Criticising JWP for that is just ignorant. He reacted perfectly.
