To be fair, they just got massively lucky and won the league. That's allowed them to push on financially. Didn't see many people praising their epic vision when they appointed Pearson or Ranieri and signed bargain players. I think the problem is that sometimes play has restarted too quickly. If they had the opportunity to look at that then surely they would give a pen. But because the ref didn't see anything noteworthy the match was back under way within seconds.
