Neville Southall's Twitter account is quite entertaining at times (although sometimes it's like an archetypal Welsh / Corbynista / "Tory bastards" political parody account).
You have a remarkably relaxed to attitude to people entering a country on false-papers for someone who appears pretty anti-immigration. Or is it ok if you're white?
A big part of the euphoria of the Poch season was the realisation we could be a good team after a few years in lower leagues.
We had a team with a freakishly high number of home-grown players coupled with players who had seen us through two consecutive promotions and fans felt a real bond with.
We hadn't been raided by competitors at that point. We've seen now that anyone who does well will likely leave before long.
Those circumstances of the Poch era are not going to repeat themselves.
Something like that makes more sense MLG, I agree. Ie. Where the flow of information is towards SFC. I think there will be limited value in loaning players we want to keep to an Italian side though.
It would still be pointless. Why send them to Serie B instead of the Championship or League One? If they were in Serie A it might be good but even then I'm not sure it's too productive to be tied with another club in relation to player dealings
I don't think there's any doubt amongst intelligent people.
It's not necessarily a problem for the women's game though. Women's tennis does OK and the gulf is the same there. Any of the top women would get absolutely destroyed by any of the top 1000 men but lots of people don't seem to mind.
