We got in loads of good positions. Puel did nothing wrong at all yesterday.
Most people criticising him are just repeating dross they've heard from others recently.
It's raining, and has been most of the day, but it's nothing particularly heavy. Pitch will be fine.
The above scenario would be vaguely amusing though.
Yeah, but you've got to remember that Trump is on the cusp of solving the Israel / Palestine question.
"I’m looking at two-state and one-state and I like the one that both parties like. I’m very happy with the one that both parties like."
Genius.
Looks like Puel will exceed most people's expectations, and that with Forster and Long having very poor seasons and Virgil, Austin and Fonte being unavailable for long-periods.
Good effort.
Is it safe to impeach him? He gets a right to defend himself in a public hearing. Goodness knows what he'd blurt out under that pressure. Can't see the CIA / NSA etc. being that keen on that route.
Some sort of accident, perhaps....?
- "I've just had a call from an agent....Man U and Liverpool want to give our star player a 200% salary increase. shall I get Uncle Les?"
"No, don't call Uncle Les. He's rubbish at persuading people to turn down massive salary increases. Get that other guy. You know, that guy who's really good at persuading people to turn down loads of money to stay at less prestigious clubs."
Yeah, but it's not even really true is it? Look at the team that played. It cost a fortune.
It's just Mourinho covering up his dismal league failings this season by pretending he doesn't care. I hope Ajax tonk them.
In any case, it was a meaningless match for the opposition and doesn't really affect anyone. If you want to see a significant team selection, see what Huddersfield did a couple of weeks ago!
On the plus side.... you've got 7 or 8 very easy away games next year (Arse, Chelsea, Spurs, WHam, Watford, Palace, Brighton, maybe Fulham or Reading...) and you can get to the midlands much easier than Sotonians can!
