His play for the first goal was class but he made a mess of a later chance with a sloppy touch. He is a good Championship standard player but will never be consistent enough for Prem IMO. Compare him with the consistency shown by Lallana and that is the difference. If we can convince some Prem sides to part with circa £1m for him then that will be excellent business.

Agree. To come into the team after a long time without an appearance and produce these performances show great attitude and skill. I can't remember Saints ever having the level of depth of squad in defence that we have at the moment. Two good full-backs on each side... compare that to James, Skacel and Surman being asked to play nigh-on whole seasons at full-back!

We really are showing the virtues of our squad right now. Poor old Forte hasn't had a look-in since he nailed McDons!
