  1. Exactly. Looks a really intelligent and entertaining player.
  2. What a great prospect. Confidence, touch, speed, strength, maturity, delivery. Much more ability with a football than Antonio or Papa, probably Theo too. If he keeps developing we've got a hell of a player.
  3. I agree completely with the footballing part of that post.
  4. What utter rubbish. If Puncheon didn't blaze over from 5 yards we would probably have won the game and this wouldn't be discussed. Why do some people's brains work in such a strange way?
  5. Did any of you watch the match? We played far worse at times last season and won.
  6. We battered them but couldn't finish. That's not the chairman's fault, or the manager's. It might be the fans' fault a bit for being infantile, impatient little ****s who have a strop at someone who misses, increasing the pressure that little bit the next time... but it's mostly just bad luck that several players had a 'mare in front of goal at the same time. Nothing to worry about though and thankfully the people in charge have a lot more sense and bottle than most of you lot.

    Chuffed

Are people seriously pinning the blame for players missing sitters on the manager? That takes a special kind of dinlo.
  8. How pathetic. Performance was fine. We will finish top 6 absolute minimum.
  9. Don't think it's a big issue. I reckon it's Cortese who sells the vision to the likes of Fonte and Waigo. Don't see any reason why he can't still do that. In any event, I expect we will have a new manager towards the start of next week.
  10. He'll never join, he hates us...
  11. Beat me to it. Exactly.
  12. FFS - you suspend them, send them home, tell them not to come in, tell them you'll draw up a generous package if they keep their mouths shut. Send a draft copy of the compromise agreement to their lawyers, have a bit of to-ing and fro-ing, reach a settled form of agreement, both parties sign and bob's your uncle.
  13. Any preference of cuisine?
  14. If he's applied than he might be in with a shout.
  15. Yes, a good rebuttal of the causal adequacy theory.
  16. Actually, same here. That's the real reason (and not wanting to lose a tenner). Not sure why I said religion.
  17. If Sacchi applies he might be in with a shout. I reckon if McClaren, Gross, Sacchi and Houllier apply we should probably at least give them an interview each.
  18. I can't - religious reasons....
  19. Anyone fancy sticking a tenner on Arrigo Sacchi to see if he suddenly comes in at even money?
  20. Arrigo Sacchi as DoF would be awesome. Just because he's famous n'that and it reminds me of Italia 90 (even though that was nothing to do with hmi).
  21. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arrigo_Sacchi TBF, he's won more than Paul Hart.
  22. If they're great friends then presumably there is often contact between the parties?
  23. We're not owned by a Swiss company. We're owned by an English company whose shareholder is a Swiss individual. Big difference. (NB - not sure what the situation is following Markus's passing actually)
  24. No, no, no. You must come down one side or the other with a strong view based on prejudice and supposition. It would also help if you had a mate or two to speak to who knows a steward. That's just the way things are done, ok?
  25. We didn't do this last year when we were bound by a sponsorship contract. This year we aren't and we are doing it. I would suggest it's an experiment, carried out a time when its effects are deemed likely to be largely revenue neutral, to see how it goes. Next year things may change, although we may decide to carry it through to the Prem to see what happens. Either way, it is not a big deal and not worth getting excited over unless you need to fill some column inches.
