  1. O'Neill would be a bloody awful England manager IMO. But I would welcome him here.
  2. hehe.
  3. If he pays Chanrai £16m then it will be on condition of the security being released and all debts owed by PFC to Chanrai being discharged. So Fratton Park would be available as security for the new lenders. The Cash My Gold and the difficult daddy does seem to chime quite well with the sort of outfit they are down the road though! Such a ****-hole that they will never attact anyone with the credentials of our Markus.
  4. C'est le mot de jour.... le nutshell.
  5. Hope so.
  6. Phil Brown - see The Echo (and some other paper, can't remember which).
  7. Me too. I want "my" club "back". I WANT it back like it used to BE when the management would come round and GIVE a bit of harmony.
  8. You are a curious person. How can you say we won't atract Prem or CCC quality managers when one of those has already gone on the record quite explicitly about wanting to be considered for the job?
  9. Don't be such a bigot.
  10. What? No, he's only joking. No one wants to "come" HERE. Not now CORTESE is running a "business" We'd be lucky to GET the "manager" of BURGER Ki"n"G'ell.
  11. With our squad, 90% of the managers mentioned could get us promoted so I wish everyone would calm down a bit. Whether they are all the "right" person for the long term is debateable but the first hurdle is to get out of this division.
  12. Got no idea why everyone's cacking themselves so much. Any half competent manager could get our squad promoted. There will probably be further strengthening, either through loans or in January, as well. Will Brown, Southgate, Zola, Mowbray, Blackwell, Howe, even Hart have us marching into the Champions League in three years? Nah. Could they all get us out of the third division? Probably.
  13. God, "you're" a WEIRDO.
  14. In 2006, the average CCC salary was a shade under £200k: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/163676000-the-average-salary-of-a-premiership-footballer-in-2006-473659.html That survey showed wage inflation of around 50% over the previous six years. Applying the same rate you would expect an increase of something like 35% over the last four years which would put the average salary around £270k now, or about £5,500 a week. The survey also found that Prem players usually received around 60-100% of their basic again over the course of a year in bonuses. All that considered, £10k per week is a very good basic salary for a CCC player. It is also one that PFC can't afford. It explains why they are completely fooked if they are still paying circa £50k a week for Utaka and Nugent. I wouldn't be surprised if their wages as a percentage of turnover (which will be jack **** this season) are now higher than they were in the Prem. Enjoy the show folks!
  15. I am, how you say, der new managersh?
  16. Hi Deppo. That's not how I pictured you at all!

  18. "Perre Marco White" -
  19. So is the suggestion that he was trying to impregnate this young lad?
  20. It probably hasn't been documented yet then. In fact, I doubt he's been sacked yet, probably just told not to come in. There is no way there won't be some agreement signed by both parties unless Pards decides he'd rather create a ****-storm than disappear quietly with a big wad of cash.
  21. I know what you mean - he is strong willed in terms of self-confidence. I fear he would be an awful manager though.
  22. Doesn't that contradict the assertion that he's a winner? Doesn't it actually suggest he's a weird northerner?
  23. Bearing in mind that any investigation probably wouldn't have started until the 19th at the earliest - probably not until after the Orient game in fact, once Markus' relatives had gone back to Switzerland. What is odd about this story though, is how lots of people claim to know about it now but yet no one knew about it at the time of the alleged bust-up.
  24. Ok - but that still begs the question of why he "wanted rid" of Pardew. If it was footballing reasons then surely he would have gone over the summer.
