He missed a sitter but was the only player who actually looked like scoring and was very good in the first half. Without Lallana we need him so I suggest people support him, as he desperately needs a goal, rather than get on his back. He knows a hell of a lot more about what to do out there than the majority of numpties who moan and whinge if he elects not to play a pointless sideways pass to Harding.
You can't blame a striker for losing possession in the opponent's box whilst trying to create a goal for a goal conceded. You can blame him for not scoring or creating a goal if you want but not for the rest of the team failing to defend a counter-attack. Ridiculous point of view, really.
I feel sorry for your friend's loss but that's clearly an unintended consequence of any dispute between the Echo and the club. It's not fair to castigate anyone over that in this particualr instance.
Indeed. The transitional period will probably comprise of two games:
A JPT defeat - never mind, could be a blessing in disguise; and,
a defeat in a league game where no matter the manager we could have played all day and not scored a goal.
No biggy.
I sincerely hope not. Good musician, sure, but what does he know about League One? I wouldn't even trust him to appoint a Prem manager TBF, despite his ESPN subscription. And you can't be sure he's off the Daz either.
