Christ almighty, some of our fans have joined their message board. How sad.

Log on for a quick look.... oh, juvenile and petty personal snipes from the lefties. Quelle surprise.

What a bonus it us to have a well respected and professional chairman who can pull off these sorts of coups. He was due to play in SerieA this season and we're in the third division FFS. What a signing!

It's just a load of Giant Cheese Taco.

Exactly, and his attitude - doesn't dwell on mistakes and doesn't shirk responsibility.

That's the one next to the tram track that runs up from Old Market Square towards the station isn't it? I was trying to remeber the name of that place - good bar.
-
Ahh, yeah, Dogma! Good place.

She didn't go because I'm the only one she loves.

Leave me alone you brute! FFS.

Has De Pedro finally signed? Fook me!

No way!!!!????

Well, quite clearly you've escaped any meaningful punishment from the footballing authorities but you're still heading for a further fall and it is funny.

Time to accept that it is unlikely we will go up

Anyone on this thread who was being a boring negative, moaning, saying we're unlikely to go up.... You were wrong and you're a bit silly. HTHTHTHTH -
That's weird. Away fans normally behind the goal. I have a funny photo somewhere of the Wrexham away contingent at a League Two match a few years ago. There were about 50 of them in a little group in the middle of a stand that must have held about 5,000!

The lace market area is where a lot of the better bars and pubs are. Less pikey (although there is generally a fair share of "pike" in Nottingham) than the bars directly abutting Old Market Square which are the usual hell holes likes Yate's. The Pitcher & Piano is worth a quick visit, if only for the impressive building (although maybe not the best bet for clunge and it aint cheap). I can't remember the names of too many other places but if you have a stroll round there you find something to suit your needs! In terms of late-bars/clubs, lace market has some independent type places ranging from the alternative to the mainstream; there is a big Oceana near the middle of town (5 mins walk from Old Market Square); another "disco-ey" club called Ocean (or it used to be - not been to Notts for a few years) down near the castle - this is a popular student haunt so could be busy with young, nubile, tight, smooth clunge given that it's Halloween. There used to be a bar up the hill from Ocean called BZR which did triples for the price of singles. Basically, everything is pretty well clustered around the centre and close together.

"Coq D'Argent", you new money, classless, embarrassing oik. And it's so 1990s.

He's quite dishy.

No, no - all clubs with financial problems are exactly the same. PFC didn't cheat - they've been hard done. It's a conspiracy, I tell ya!

I'm sure they are, but I don't think a relatively small tax incentive is going to contribute one bit to everyone living in nice family units.

It's in the wrong direction from the train station and not that great. You would be better going to Hooters which is near the station and on the way to the ground.
-
I used to make that trip regularly and you went via Birmingham New Street or Derby. Have you tried going on to the National Rail website and putting "Southampton" in the "from" box and "Nottingham" in the "destination" box?

I also think giving people a tax break for getting married is mental! Mind you, how much does a Register Office cost nowadays anyway...?

Lambert only available striker for Saturday...
benjii replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
How's about: Punch----Hammond----Guly----Lallana --------------Oxo-------------------- ------------Lambert---------------- Allows the pace of Oxo to be used directly against their CBs and doesn't require shifting Lallana or Puncheon around. Whilst I've no doubt Lallana could play in the hole effectively I wouldn't want to swap positions around any more than necessary. From the little I've seen of Guly, I think he is physical enough to play in CM with Hammond. If MS was around I'd play Guly in the hole as a swap for Barnard and leave everything else unchanged. We could do that, with Chaplow coming in for MS if his fitness is ok. I'm surprised at people saying Chaplow could play in the hole though. He's not that sort of player at all IMO.
