Indeedy. So, with all of this year's parachute money spoken for, with losses of around £1m per month, with a recently engorged wage bill and with no credible purchaser, the question that must be in the FL's minds is: "How can they fulfil their fixtures?" given that the question that must be in AA's mind is: "Who's going to give me the next £6m?" Chanrai's sudden cold feet seem a bit odd if he has already blown £6m on the admin process. It's still a very nebulous state of affairs and there will be more funny twists to come I reckon!

That Dumbass that the IMF is praising to the hilt? That one? That "strong and credible" Dumbass? Him? And Cameron has some real statesmanlike qualities. That's what a good education and upbringing will give you.

Why do you respond to everything with some comment about the Tories? It's tiresome and results in petty point-scoring rubbish. This is about Labour and their gimpy, unelectable new leader FFS.

He put some good tackles in against Bristol Rovers and looks a strong athlete so I wouldn't be too worried about that. He's there, he's an option on the bench, he's not cluttering the squad as we have very few CMs so I don't see what the problem is. If we can get a CM in who's much better than MS or DH and can go straight into the team then great. If he was a LB, LM or CB for example then I would question his signing as we're already well covered there.
-
What I meant by that was that we needed another CM, as the only other one we have is Wotton who is ok at what he does but is hardly a replacement for the other two. Whether that player gets in the team immediately or not is irrelevant as our team is one of the very best in the division already.

Just another game. I think a big, "Welcome to our friends, The Cherries, many Saints fans' second team" announcement on the big screens should sum up the mood fairly well.

Thank you Steven. You are now my favourite adminerator.

Jolly good. What about the points re the number of forums? The off-topic stuff used to be much better, for the reasons noted by various posters above. Are you going to change it back?

From a similar period, you also have to question whether the Walter Mitty M&A stars would have posted on here if they had needed to pay? I'm not convinced they could have raised the £5 - so that's another load of fun we would have missed.

Another good point. I have loads of great, witty, non-offensive and hilarious material waiting to ejaculate forth all over Arts and Motoring threads but I really can't be bothered to look at those sub-sub-sub-forums.

That was mental moderation, absolutely mental.

That's a great precis (with a small handful of exceptions).

We needed cover at CM with some attacking ability. He provides cover at CM and has some attacking ability. Could not care less whether he displaces MS or Hammond - he will be there when we need him when one of them picks up a suspension (as they undoubtedly will soon).

I heard a snippet on the radio that a load of ballot papers were disqualified because people forgot to tick a box at the bottom? Bit embarrassing! Also a lot of less than enthused faces on the Channel 4 News coverage of the conference today.

There used to be a cafe in Cardiff called "The Warm As Toast Cafe", but the sign on the fron just said: T W A T

Of course he's good enough. He's one of the best wide players in the division. Not sure if you noticed but we were pretty good last season. I despair sometimes.

As long as he remembers his fishing rod, warm coat, chicken and a beer all will be well.

Hypothetical Question about house ownership...

If she sells it for £1 I don't think CGT liability will be much of an issue! The clue is in the "G" bit. -
40p per mile certainly is a great deal. I did a 6 month secondment once that I could get away with driving to every day. Cashback!

Guildford and Winchester, good nights out?

Maccy D's Employee of The Month has obviously raised its game a notch or two!

I would consider an easy ride from management, no pressure to perform, a job for life, masses of paid sick leave and a gargantuan pension as quite big perks

Agree. I remember when we beat Charlton in the cup last season (I think somewhere near the start of our really good run) and everyone was on here creaming themselves about how well we played. We played ok but it was the same direct style of play that often got lambasted when we didn't win - the difference was that we put our chances away and Charlton were ****e. Against Leyton Orient this season we played some of the best football I've seen us play for years in the first half, much more attractive and also incisive, but we didn't win and so the muppets booed. I don't understand the negativity - we might come up a bit short of first or second place this season which is worse than expected but we still have every chance of promotion and until that looks unlikely we have lots to be positive about.
