  1. Trotman can't play actually so Thomas gets a game and some nipper gets on the bench instead.
  2. That should still be able to win.
  3. Yep, agree. They are likely to be the worst team we play between now and the end of the season in a competition which will ultimately either end in a disappointing defeat to a lower league team or a thrashing to a good side. We don't need the money. If we can't rotate the squad now, when will we. I would pick something like this: -----------------Bart---------------- LJ-----Trotman-------Perry-------Mills Antonio-----Wotton-----Mellis------Holmes ----------Patterson-------McClaggon---- Subs: KD, Thomas, Gobern, Murty, Waigo
  4. What does Babysham taste like?
  5. Oh crikey. Or, Mellis was a bit nervous, hasn't played much lately and abdicated the repsonsibility for those reasons.
  6. TBH, I suspected it was a fake all along but didn't want to get slagged off for stating so on the main board. "We were all wearing trilbys, they were all wearing flat caps" FFS! Just shows how history is entirely subjective.
  7. No porn please.
  8. If a company agrees to pay a fee to a third party on their customer's behalf in connection with the delivery of a service for which the customer has not yet paid I think it's fair to add a premium. They are exposed to the risk of you not making payment for the service and they sure as hell aren't going to get their tenner back from Customs. Unless you've already paid upfront then the premium is perfectly fair (although it shouldn't be too high). I'm unsure whether the premium in this case is £3.50 or £13.50. Obviously that is a separate point from the general lateness and service issues, which do sound quite annoying.
  9. Great post. Agree 100%. I was waiting for the windmill too! I hope his degree certificate capsule (I'm sure it has a more impressive Latin name) was waterproof!
  10. The rebound went straight to the taker who, for obvious reasons, was further forward than anyone else. It was just tough luck. In the same way, someone was tracking back for the second goal. Watch the replay. The ball went to the attacker's side so he got to it first. Had it bounced right off Davis instead of left the defender would have got to it first. As for Lambert not liking 4-4-2, I imagine he's spent most of his career playing in that formation. He has had a couple of quiet games, he has been ill. Why do people always look to make ridiculous conclusions from isolated incidents? Logically feeble, that's what it is.
  11. I remember that. Some excellent deliveries by James.
  12. Anyhoo.... I think he has a lot to contribute and I would certainly start him ahead of Antonio at the moment. I agree that yesterday was frustrating though.
  13. Thanks, insult withdrawal accepted. I could have been a bit more expansive with what I was saying so as to appear less abrupt.
  14. Haha - funny you should say that, I was admiring the roof today.

    Comfort Zone

I would say that in general that would stand you in better stead. The slightly more subtle point I was making was not that you're wrong, but that I can't see what justifies your statement. James and Davis had a bad game and therefore everyone's complacent and in a comfort zone? I just don't get that.
  16. Sorry, it was indeed a mocking of that annoying Michael Winner advert. I should have put a winky. The point I was making was that this is a thread about Papa Waigo the footballer. Asking some sort of entirely irrelevant race question is liable to ruin the thread.
  17. Yeah, I agree and get rid of Lallana, Schneiderlin and the stadium too.
  18. Nonsense. First goal was a pen: funnily enough the taker was at least 6 yards closer than anyone else. Secondly: There was a defender tracking back, they both slid in, the attacker got a toe to it. That is all. Thirdly: Against Brighton, the forward's momentum took him stright towards the rebound.

    Comfort Zone

Does paragraph 2, even if it's correct, justify paragrpah 1 in any way at all? No. Stop talking guff.
  20. You think Trotman was "atrocious"? Bizarre, utterly bizarre, from someone who must surely have watched quite a bit of football?
  21. Pardew agrees with me, as usual, we defended a lot better than of late: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1882173,00.html
  22. Why do people think Trotman was bad? Norwich's strikers hardly got a sniff.
  23. The people from the wrong end of the world's social slider can sleep easy knowing that 19C is railing against golf for them.
