  1. If we win the first 5 our tails will be up and out of the bottom 3, and then I'd fancy our chances of getting a point at Stamford bridge.
  2. It certainly did at the time. But it was before our second goal. If he had scored, the rest of the match would've been different, and there's no way of knowing if we'd got a third goal (butterfly effect, innit). It would be more sickening if it had happened after the penalty.
  3. This. It reminds me of the Everton and Boro 2-2 capitulations of the 2004/5 relegation season. I'm getting the same sense of doom. Norwich winning today doesn't help with my mood. Yes Bertrand was very good, PEH a waste of space.
  4. That obviously refers to performance not score. We missed at least 4 sitters.
  5. Yes "non performers" who could've beaten Arsenal by 4 goals. Poor finishing yes, but "non performers" don't rip a big 6 team to shreds at their place.
  6. I can give you one.
  7. PEH aside, not bad overall. Arsenal are poor and there for the taking. PEH is awful. Replace him with Djenepo or Boufal. Or at least Romeu if we want to settle for the draw.
  8. I'm sure he will. He'll have a lot to write about: 16 managers in 17 years.
  9. Me too. It would be funny if we weren't in much worse shape.
  10. You give him too much credit. Mitchell and the Spurs scouts brought in great talent at bargain prices, not to mention world class players like Kane through the youth (who Poch only played due to injuries to others). Despite Spurs not overspending like West Ham, etc. Poch had the luxury of a squad filled with brilliant players from front to back. Despite that in five years he won **** all. A good manager, no more. Vastly overrated by many here. Mind you, bringing in the "special one" will only end in tears (for Spurs, not Jose who'll probably get another nice payoff when he's sacked).
  11. We could do worse. Pulis never gets relegated. He probably thinks the loser of our upcoming match against West Ham will be the one he can take over. As many have noted, he is good with the right assistant. But without Rohl he appears to be Laurel without Hardy.
  12. A LB at LB, and a RB at RB? Are you mad?
  13. Here in California they call themselves Indians.
  14. Yes, but how do you write "Goa out, f**k off Goa" in Chinese?
  15. As others have alluded to, there was a falling out apparently. Doesn't mean Ralph pushed him out, just that Rohl wanted out.
  16. Exactly, although you missed the administration and minus 12 points that goes with it. Hopefully when that happens Gao doesn't do a Lowe and wait until after the cutoff date, making it carry over to the next season in L1/L2.
  17. It'll look better for him at about 4:50 pm on November 23. Temporarily at least.
  18. Yes, they've put all their eggs in the Ralph basket.
  19. Another decent manager hounded out by a large segment of our fans.
  20. In 2005 we had that **** Saggy in charge. Nuff said.
  21. No problem, that slump will end in their next match. When do we play West Ham? They are also in need of a slump ending victory.
  22. The only hope is Ralph admits his mistake, gets on his knees and begs Rohl to come back, and the club offer him (Rohl) a massive pay increase to pry him back from Bayern Munich. I'm not holding my breath.
  23. Sadly that's true on all counts. Go down and we're truly ****ed. OTH Norwich could well come straight back up.
