  1. 9 yellows. Should have been at least 2 reds on top of that. Brawls during and after the match. Filthy bastards. I hope they get a bunch of post-match bans, maybe even points deduction. Well done Leicester.
  2. Deliberate stamp on Fabregas's hand.
  3. Filthy, filthy team. I hope they get a bunch of bans after this. Should get a 10 point deduction too.
  4. Loved seeing MP's head in his hands as that goal went in.
  5. As mentioned earlier, it doesn't really matter. If they catch us or overtake us it means we probably wouldn't have had enough points anyway to finish 7th or higher.
  6. Silver lining, if the north London yobos win tonight, and Leicester fail to beat Everton, it'll be in our hands to ruin the bastards dreams at WHL. What could be sweeter?
  7. Or maybe he said to Davies "Make it a good one please. The gaffer told me I won't have to play if we're 2 or more goals down, so if you score now I can go back to the bench and have a nice rest before Wednesday."
  8. If Utd win the FA cup we could get this final table and qualifications: Leicester - CL Spurs - CL Arsenal - CL Man Utd - CL Man City - EL West Ham - EL Saints - EL Liverpool - Nothing If Liverpool win EL then this changes to: Leicester - CL Spurs - CL Arsenal - CL Man Utd - CL Man City - EL West Ham - EL Saints - EL Liverpool - CL If City win CL then it changes to: Leicester - CL Spurs - CL Arsenal - CL Man Utd - CL Man City - CL West Ham - EL Saints - EL Liverpool - Nothing But if Liverpool win EL and City win CL then I think it changes to (hope I'm wrong): Leicester - CL Spurs - CL Arsenal - CL Man Utd - EL Man City - CL West Ham - EL Saints - Nothing Liverpool - CL
  9. If City win CL and finish 5th then indeed there would be 5 CL entrants, but only 2 EL (City's EL gets converted to CL). Similarly if Liverpool win EL and finish in an EL spot.
  10. He's only right if Liverpool finish 8th and win the EL.
  11. Odds improved greatly today. Liverpool seem distracted by their EL semi-final. If we can stay ahead of them, and Utd win the cup, we're in.
  12. His deliveries into the box are often quality, certainly far better than Cedric's. The jury's still out on his defending.
  13. Yes they were. Mane will probably get MOM for the hat trick, but all 3 were superb.
  14. Agreed. Especially about Clasie Romeu
  15. We need a 2 goal cushion before Aguero comes on.
  16. Yes it is. Now they can draw their last 2 matches to win it. And now anything less than 3 wins for Spurs ends it for them.
  17. Strong bench though.
  18. Absolutely correct. And what were the odds of 4 of those 5 happening? 200/1, 400/1? I doubt as high as 5000/1, and even if it was, it wasn't zero as Mr Fry asserts. And as for the argument that it didn't happen therefore it was impossible, I could make that statement about any unlikely event that doesn't occur. I could hold a gun with one bullet to someone's head, spin the chamber, and tell them "don't worry it's impossible that you'll die" before I pull the trigger. I doubt they'd be amused if it clicks blank and I tell them "see, I told you it was impossible."
  19. 2 teams get 1 point over 2 matches and 1 team (out of 2) gets 0 points over 2 matches = multiple top-four teams to all just lose match after match  http://www.sportinglife.com/football/live/match-report/341168/hartlepool-united-v-portsmouth Portsmouth must make do with a place in the Sky Bet League 2 play-offs, after their automatic promotion hopes were ended despite a 2-0 win at Hartlepool United. Pompey, already assured of a play-off spot, were harbouring pre-match hopes of making the top three but wins for Accrington, Oxford, and Bristol Rovers keeps them out with one game to go
  20. Leicester were 5000/1 at the start of the season with the bookies (who know a thing or two about odds), and most would have agreed with that. Hardly a ridiculous comparison. The odds of the DFCSBs overtaking 3 out of 4 teams with 2 matches to play were long, but nowhere near that. Maybe about the same as a mediocre second division team going all the way in 1976 and beating Utd in the final. For you to say that something that was unlikely to happen, was never going to happen, is ridiculous.
  21. By that logic Leicester's bid to win the league was gone 38 weeks ago.
  22. What are you on about? If Oxford or Accrington had lost today, and Bristol Rovers drawn or lost, then the phew could've overtaken them on the last day.
  23. The good news for them is they are winning. The bad news is the teams above (apart from Plymouth of course) are also winning. Automatic promotion is fading fast.
