  1. I didn't like them on 14 April, 1984.
  2. 110_Persaint, Glasgow, Barry, Alpine and Bearsy meet up for a pint.
  3. Anyone who starts a match build up thread, which then gets locked a few hours later.
  4. This ^ Team that beat Citeh 3-1: Boruc, Clyne, Yoshida, Hooiveld, Fox (Richardson 71), Cork, Schneiderlin, S. Davis (Ward-Prowse 80), Puncheon (Lallana 61), Rodriguez, Lambert. Subs not used: K. Davis, Forren, Lee, Chaplow.
  5. What did you say before the ManUre and Liverpool games?
  6. I can see why Villa have such a good away record. Smash and grab experts. Aided and abetted by Yoshida.
  7. Mods, can you delete this post, please? It's far too sensible for this thread. Ta.
  8. Can we borrow one or two of these?
  9.
  10. http://www.myfootballfacts.com/mark_lawrensons_predictions_2012-13.html 25 out of 38 predictions wrong for us (wrong results). On par with the proverbial monkey and his typewriter. We also got 10 more points than he predicted. Still laughing? http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/10337933.Saints_out_to_heap_scorn_on_Pundit_Lawro/
  11. They'd be 8 points adrift of safety if the FL had had any Mawhinney balls and given them the deserved -10 points this season, instead of applying it meaninglessly last season. However if they can manage to go down despite that let off, it'll make it even more hilarious for us. And even more painful for the phew.
  12. Certainly better than 7 places above bottom in League 2. How humiliating that must be, for certain team "owned" by the bestest™ fans in the world.
  13. Most weeks he's wrong with us. In fact he uses a "2 wrongs makes a right" technique to make his prediction table not so bad at the end of season: if a team is way out, he can predict a few wins (if they are too low) or a few losses (if they are too high), to move the team closer to the real position.
  14. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25073500 2-0 to Chelsea. Well it worked last week (thanks to Artur), so why not go for it again?
  15. And scoring a wind-assisted winner after 12 seconds.
  16. Yet again, reports of this thread's death have been greatly exaggerated.
  17. They're big, not massive. We're medium. Arsenal, ManUre, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern are massive.
  18. Well he certainly is as mad as a box of borucs. But at least Big Vic was immense. He clearly was told to KISS* about his passing. * Keep it short, stupid.
  19. Keep it up and we can welcome him as a new nutjob.
  20. Me too. Can we shake hands on it?
  21. Prediction of Lawro's prediction. I've been proved wrong time and again with my predictions about Saints losing. They keep surprising, consistently playing brilliantly, and in their last match played Hull off the park. They could easily have scored 7 or 8. They have no major injury concerns, and their players (especially the ones called up by England) are brimming with confidence. Their defense is rock solid. Arsenal on the other hand, despite their good start, looked very poor against United in their last match, and will miss the suspended Flamini. Prediction: Arsenal 3 Southampton 1.
