  1. No idea TBH, but I don't remember him missing one. According to Wiki: On 18 August 1979, he became the highest scoring full-back in the history of the Football League when he scored a penalty against Manchester United.
  2. SOGs like me can remember Peach being another excellent penalty taker.
  3. That's a bit unfair on tits, don't you think?
  4. Which is a very easy test to pass if you don't actually exist.
  5. But surely not quite as often as "paper thin squad."
  6. Ta. At least I guessed 3/5 of it right.
  7. Yes, that's not something I normally condone, but in the Cheat's case I have absolutely no problem. Mind you, they had an important win today against the might Doncaster, and are now up to the dizzy heights of 18th. The big question is, can they make up the 17 points to get to the sixth and last playoff spot, and hence have a 1/4 shot at avoiding obliteration? (Assuming of course they can avoid points penalties from the court cases.) It looks like it's going to be a nail biting end of season for the few.
  8. Dirty F*cking Cheating Sons of Bitches?
  9. Ending up in league two is insufficient punishment for the cheating, lying bastards.
  10. I wouldn't be too sure about that. After all the Cheats have so far managed to weasel their way out of countless seemingly impossible situations. Anyway, if they don't go up this year I think a points deduction is the least of the worries for the few.
  11. And to think a few dozen pages back someone came on here and had the temerity to suggest that this thread was on its last legs. We Cheats-Takeover-Thread veterans knew better. There's plenty of life left in the old dog yet. (The thread of course, not the cesspit of a club.)
  12. I think we'll have to agree to disagree on Saggy.
  13. .... has been sacked by Wolfsburg after only 8 months. Hopefully that will put paid to any insane talk of him going back to the England job because of his success in the Mickey Mouse Dutch league. Of course that does still leave Saggy Chops. Hopefully the tax man can take care of his England manager prospects.
  14. It certainly explains why he listed Cheats as his favourite team.
  15. Fact or speculation?

  17. If Chinny pulls the plug he won't be only one gone sooner rather than later.
  18. My bad, yes, he's second in line behind the football creditors. But I'm sure there must be enough left over after they've been paid, otherwise he wouldn't be paying Lawrence et al.'s wages and keeping Cheats FC's rotten corpse on life support.
  19. I can't argue with any of that. And no mention of Glenda. Keep it up.
  20. Chinny is a "football creditor", and presumably at the head of the queue when those parachute payments come in.
  21. I reckon people have every right to be pleased with the players for gaining a 2-goal lead. Twice...
  22. Many games are flash based which work on the mac. Also veetle webcasts work, provided you install veetle software on your mac. Sopcast and tvants are windoze only.
  23. If it's going to resemble the Cheats saga there should be 50 get out of jail free cards. That's about as many they've used so far. Cheating, lying, bastards.
