A cement boot party, with Lumpitt and Stevie C. as guests of honour?
-
And the icing on the cake is that he was persuaded by Lumpitt and Stevie-boy to fund an expensively assembled "quality over quantity" squad to make a swift return to the PL. Talk about about throwing good* money after bad. * (well, dodgy maybe)

His Dad certainly didn't.

Saints are making a mistake. They're asking too much.
-
Yes, the Canucks looked great, and poor Niemi let in 7, but he didn't get much help from his defence (just like when he played for Saints under Saggy ).
-
Is that Injustice Mann? If so
-
Hopefully he won't stop Canucks progressing to the Stanley Cup final.

Found him .....

This. And if we don't go up automatically, then beating Billy the Bastard in the playoffs would be most satisfying.
-
A distinct possibility if Stevie-boy resigns and Avram gets his old job back at his "spiritual" home, with the bestest™ fans in the whole world. Actually it's a very physical home for him too, according to a number of Thai masseuses.

You lucky buggers, I've suffered decades of crap curries here in San Diego. Finally a decent one opened about a year ago, and just a few miles from the house. Woo hoo! Called the Himalayan, it's an Indian/Tibetan hole in the wall, with curries almost as good as back home. $8 lunch special includes lentil soup, choice of 2 excellent curries, basmati rice and nan. Now if only I could find some decent bangers over here.

That's right, because if they hang on to Cotterill ..... No, that's too easy. Just like shooting fish in a barrel.

Looking back at some illegally bought happy days is all that's left for the few, crumbs of comfort as it's now time to pay the piper. Desperate decades coming for the few, facing the depths of despair with nothing to look forward to but abject misery.
-
Shame they can't make this retroactive and hammer the Cheats.
-
A bad day at the office, f'sure. But with Saggy Chops' thumbs up to Mad Milan at the end, it was clearly a case of a traitor's work well done. And remember in that season we beat the Cheats twice (once in the league and once in the cup), and with 3 points out of 6 we did a lot better against your lot than against most of the other PL teams that year.
-
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Plonking your money on a roulette wheel (generally regarded as a sucker's game) is a much better investment, and infinitely more entertaining, than flushing it down the toilet known as Cheats FC.
-
The same as the team in 7th, but with better goal difference, and winning the playoff final.
-
I'd prefer it to be the last match of the season, in which a 4-1 drubbing (with a legally assembled squad) secures our first place, condemns them to relegation, whilst the crying blue few are forced to remain in ground as the Saints parade the champions trophy in front of them.

At least now Fred Dinenage and co. won't be putting the temperature as -10 over Southampton. Mind you, they may soon have to put -30 (or lower) over Cheatsville.
-
If Saints had got only 22 points then they would have gone into the Walsall match at best 1 point ahead of Huddersfield (possibly 2 behind them). Huddersfield would then have had a realistic chance of promotion, and would have gone all out for the win in their last match, and most likely have beaten a crap Brentford team (rather than play a 4-4 friendly, with both eyes on the playoffs). So, even though we'll never know for certain, I would say that we needed 24 points for promotion (losing to rather than beating Walsall), which is roughly half way between 20 and 28.

Lawrence: “If the gaffer can bring in the players he wants over the summer then we’ve got every chance next season.” Yes Liam, and if my Auntie had balls she'd be my uncle.

I agree, it's hard to imagine the slimy Cheats getting a points deduction. Even in the worst case scenario for them they'd probably find a way out of it. But Chinny pulling the plug, asset stripping everything bar the kitchen sink, a complete liquidation of the cesspit of a club, the razing of Krap Nottarf followed by the building of flats on its extremely unhallowed ground, looks very promising indeed.
