Herbert Blagrave's Trust...and £22.M...potentially!!
saintstr1 replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
Your mixing him up with some guy called Lowe!!!!!!!!!! -
Amazing how the majority have us staying up with points to spare. Now I know we are desperate for this to be correct but lets remember how much difference there is between playing football on paper as opposed to the real thing on the grass. It does look promising though. Good Game...... Good Game

I took your advice and just did it myself so here goes:- 1 Reading 92points 2 Wolves 92 3 Cardiff 89 4 Birmingham 81 5 Swansea 80 6 Sheff U 78 13 Saints 57 22 Norwich 46 23 Blackpool 42 24 Chalton 36 We will see but I will certainly take us with anywhere around 54-58 points. COYR

Rose Tinted me thinks , Allthough I would be delighted with that Table.

I to was not overly impressed with the appointment of Wotte, But if he keeps us up then fair play I will be very impressed. Nine points from the last 3 matches is great and has at least kept us in the mix, but unless we take at least 7 points from the next 3 Matches I am not sure it will alter much .......... Here's Hopeing

Wotte is the new version of Pearson...
saintstr1 replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
I dont understand why so much negativity on here tonight , Regardless of any like or dislike of Wotte you cant argue with the results ........ For the first time in a couple of months our future is in our own hands. We have a game in hand over Blackpool directly above us , win that and we are out of the bottom three ....... Hopefully push on from there. 2 months ago I thought we were well and truely down, Now there is hope. -
Edam well should have.

Right then..Who will do the job other than lowe

I think he would disagree and say that MK Dons have as much chance of becoming a premier club as Saints have, In fact probably more chance at the moment. -
Unfortunately I dont think the so called senior pro's are that good either , I am sorry to say that this is probably the least talented squad of players that I have seen playing for Saints in my 60 years of supporting them. Nothing short of a miracle will save them now and if they dont record the full 6 points from the next two home fixtures ,.........well need I say more.
-
I second that , a real leader of a team
-
so what are you saying..........we are just unlucky

I have not got a prediction correct all season so I say 3-0 to BC

everyone has accepted we are in league one next season

some other clubs in this division are actually in much worse debt than Saints! But will still be in the CCC next season! -
Controversial post alert - ignore if you like Lowe

I watched the Sky sports commentary on the game tonight given by Ian Holloway, now before you all jump on me and tell me what a c~~k Holloway is it was interesting listening to the views of a experienced championship manager. Firstly he thought we were starting with to many youngster when we had the likes of Euell & BWP on the bench. Secondly he could not believe how when Sheff U went down to 10 men we still carried on playing the same way, his take was that nobody on the saints side was making the team slow down and think about building our attacks , everything was just to gung ho and that didn't appear to be a alternative directions from the bench. He also thought we were a bit unlucky although our finishing could have been better. As I said he was never my favourite manager but oh how we need someone like him instead of this Dutch Cr@p. -
Play Rudi in his correct position in midfield and watch our Goals for tally shoot up .

Not impressed with Wotte "Fans are very easy with their judgement"

I too was brought up watching the Alehouse team at the dell and very proud of it, Differnce was the Alehouse team days were MEN getting stuck in whilst playing fooball, not kids trying to play and please suits who plan there evey kick. When the likes of Moly and a few of the other kids are as football wise as our alehouse team were they wont pick up silly red cards. -

Lee Molyneux is a very young and very inexperienced player and with Twottes words ringing in his ears to get stuck in and be more aggresive he overstepped the mark , but he did it trying to please his manager. It was obvious from the way we played yesterday and from the comments coming out of the Swansea camp that Twotte had sent the players out to get stuck in first and foremost. IMO that is why we went down to 10 men and as i said on another day we could have gone down to nine. I am all for a bit of aggression in the team if it is allied to the football , playing as we did yesterday and last tuesday is not going to keep us up. Twotte will not keep us up, and going on todays comments he has lost a large percentage of the fans support already , not that he ever had mine as he is just Lowes ****** -

I was totally unimpressed when Twotte got the job, my first thoughts were same old same, two games this week he has done nothing to change my mind and I am more certain than ever that we are heading for relegation, again!!. Off course Twotte will say the things like he has just said he is in love with Lowe, prior to JP leaving Twotte always watched games from the directors box sat holding hands with Lowe, that is the only reason he is in the job not because of his football management knowledge. Untill we get a manager who understands championship football and what is required we are just going to stumble through the rest of the season as we stumbled through the first half under JP. The only difference between Saints under JP and Saints under Twotte is JP told the players to go out and play football and Twotte tells them to go out and kick f@@k out of the opposition,( Which is why LM got red carded yesterday , and he could have been joined by Wotton). We need a a manager who knows how to play fair aggressive championship football , Mark Wotte is not the answer. -
Demonstration for Swansea game- Time and place!!

As a Saints supporter for some sixty years I wish I could be there to march with you today, but alas it is not possible being a pensioner living 600 miles away. However I should like to point out a few things to those of you who are involved. 1, The March must be kept as orderly as possible otherwise you will lose public support. 2, Appoint your own stewards to keep the shape of the march so that it does not intimidate members of the public. 3, Sing and chant as loud as you can but no bad language or obscenitys. 4, Obey all instructions from the police. If you remember this is a protest against Lowe , Wilde and the other Boardroom members that are Ruining the club and not a excuse to just disrupt Southampton City Centre it will all be fine and hopefully a peacefull trouble free protest will be rewarded with 3 points this afternoon. -
You think Lowe is great and that he got us to a Cup final ? , He didn't , Strachan did. We lost that one by the way, But the one we won in 1976 Lowe prefers to eradicate that memory and replace it with a Train picture......... yeh Lowe is fantastic ambassador for SFC,......I Dont Think so!!

Ok , now that Mary has very kindly eased the lid in public can someone persuade her to lift it completely off. Come on Mary do the decent thing and tell everything on either this website or via the echo the full story from your side. If it is honest and factual what is there to lose and anything that can tip the balance to rid us of the Lowe factor is what is called for at the moment, The gloves should be off. Mary if you read this I am a Saints supporter for 60 years and like you and your father before you hate what Lowe & Wilde are doing to this club , please help.

I second that , Crouch and his ideas for saving us is very much prefered to what we have at present IMO
-
One foot in the Grave .............. I Dont Believe it !
-
Totally agree , And when we get hammered by Norwich on Tuesday and Swansea next Saturday the situation will be allmost beyond recall. I cant believe the Idiots at SFC have learned nothing and this appointment is just the Wigley Scenario repeated and look where we ended up that season.
