I totally agree with everything the Journalist writes and surely any competant Lawyer could drive a coach & horses through the FA's ruling. I also fail to understand how two clubs who committed the same crime during the 08/09 season can start the 09/10 season in the same division with a 10 point difference. Talking about things being moraly wrong surely this is,(and probably Legaly wrong as well), either the FA should rescind our 10 point deduction or force Stockport to carry theres into League one for next season.
-
I am , Out the lot of them!.......... Once all the dirty washing has been hung out then we can move onwards & upwards
-
EXACTLY, Lets here it all.

If as been stated recently any new owners of SFC intend to appeal the 10 point deduction then surely this case with Stockport must help us. How can it be legally correct for two teams who committed the same offence during season 08/09, start season 09/10 in the same division with a 10 point difference. Surely LEGALLY that is incorrect.

Schneiderlin - Saints Biggest Waste of Cash Ever?
saintstr1 replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
I really think everyone is being a little hard on MS , he is a very young & inexperienced kid who was thrust into a very poor team and expected to be a Gerrard , Lampard ,Barry etc capable of winning games on his own. He is still IMO a great prospect but he needs to be playing in a team were experienced players take the limelight & pressure off him. I for one hope he sticks with us and with the right management and a winning team I am sure we will see his true worth. As for Wotton , He is not the greatest to ever pull on a Saints shirt but he could be a ace in Division one next season, Type of experienced & committed player that is needed in the fight to regain our championship place. -
Graham Le Saux is a pussy , Not management material, IMO

Looks more like Tinky Winky to me, would fit well into our team of Telly Tubbies

I'd be up for it, Very much one of the Anything but Lowe please.

Having been a Saints supporter for some 60 years I think this posting by "Sid" is the biggest load of Ballacks I have read on this site for many a long a day. Whilst I think that new owners with none of the previous board room chumps is preferable, to slag off Crouch like this is totally out of order. Crouch may not be everyones cuppa, but there is no denying his love and enthusiasm for all things Southampton FC. Crouch was only chairman for a few very difficult months and whilst I will agree mistakes were made he still achieved the correct end to the season by us staying up on the final day. Whilst you are launching this attack on Crouch you seem to have forgotten it was the Lowe/Wilde combination that forcefully removed a blossoming partnership of Crouch and Pearson and sent us spiraling to the position we find ourselves in today. Personally I am 110% sure that had Crouch been left at the club with Pearson in the managers chair WE WOULD NOT NOW BE A DIVISION ONE CLUB.

Nail on the head !!!! The stay away fans are not even 1% to blame for Saints spectacular demise , You dont pay for a product that is no good........ and the reason for it being no good...... The Chairman,Directors, Management & Players....... aportion the blame in varying percentages to that lot, NOT THE FANS..

Has Wotte finally been to one Amsterdam coffee shop too many ?
saintstr1 replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
I see nothing wrong in Wotte's piece , 60% of football is in having the right mind set and will to win when you take to the Pitch. After Ronaldho scored on wednesday he was running across the pitch to confront his manager , probably with some sort of gesture of defiance,Only a very quick interception by Rooney and then other united players stopped Ronaldho from making a fool of himself in front of the dugout. Comments that were made after the game made it clear that Ferguson had been kicking ronnie's bum a little and told him to cut out the prima donna attitude and play for the team and by golly it worked big time for united. So if Wotte is trying a similar tactic with his boys then good luck to him , I dont care how many players he upsets, if he gets that extra 10% out of them by asking them to apply the attitude of the Ronaldho's & Lampard's . -
do the older fans care as much as the younger fans....
saintstr1 replied to lordswoodsaints's topic in The Saints
I cannot read it without glasses and saw my first match at the dell in 1949 so I guess it makes me a older fan................ And yes it really hurts the older fans , I too have seen cup finals , european matches & all the great Saints players from Alf Ramsey , Ted Bates , Don Roper , to the later heros like Micky Channon , MLT Etc over 60 years as a Saints supporter, and all that is going on at the moment .. HURTS LIKE HELL. -
Of Course Administration is not the Ideal Scenario and you are correct that a lot of fans hoped for it to rid us of Lowe , Which at the moment it has. It all depends on what happens from here on in , If we get a wealthy buyer of the type that has been discussed over the last few days and he is prepared to invest in the club , the team , the manager etc then yes administration might not have been a bad thing. If we only get back the likes of Lowe and some of the other clowns that have been involved , then well , what was the point. I know I will probably sound like a old record but if we had carried on were we left off last season with Pearson at the helm I am 100% sure we would not be in administration or about to get relegated, again!! Lowe has driven the club to this administration completly on his own and his continual bleeting "That is not his fault" is a insult to the intelligence of every SFC fan. History will show Lowe up for the failed person that he is and always has been............ All in my opinion off course.
-
I know that niether of them will ever make a decent manager but I actually prefered the way we played under JP , obviously we were no better results wise but at least we played some half decent passing football earlier in the season and always looked interested. Wottes Team today had absolutely nothing to commend them from the first to the last minute , I have seen better prepared sunday league teams. What a huge disgracefull joke SFC has become.
-
Totaly Agree , Show Watte and the rest of the Dutch contingent the door now and at least save a little money.
-
I totally agree with GM , surely his time should have been spent interviewing prospective buyers or has he already sold the club?
-
I for one am sick of listening to Lowe , I think his constant protesting every day only proves his Guilt.
-
I'm with you as well Charlie , I think Crouch should be cut some slack as he has tried and is still doing his best for SFC.
-
Whilst I dont disagree with you the balance sheets only tell half the story......... If Lowe had come back and left Pearson in situ to run the football team instead of enforcing HIS dream of second rate Dutch coaches/managers and very inexperienced players I very much doubt we would now be in administration. I think you would find that Pearson would have had us at least Mid Table with a few experienced loans instead of some of our young players who are totally outclassed and unready for the standard of league we are in. This in turn would have meant better support and gate returns this season. Whilst I am unaware the problems were there before this season Lowe did very little to help the finances of the Football club this season but he conveneintly forgets all this whilst blaming everyone else for our current position. As a supporter of Saints for almost 60years I think I have a pretty balenced view of the whole situation and believe me Lowe is at least 60% to blame for our sorry position and if you attach Wilde to the Lowe scenario it would be nearer 90%.
-
Crouch is not "great" as you put it but he is a real fan who tries his best for the Saints. It is not that long ago that he offered the club £2million if Lowe & Wilde matched it. Had Lowe & Wilde done this the club would not now be in administration. Lowe said in the papers today that he "loved the club". Obviously he didn't love it enough to invest,( Despite Milking The Club For Over 10 years), alongside Crouch and save the club from this awful situation. I know that all shareholders have now lost there stake in the club and Crouch has lost more than most , Certainly a lot more than Lowe. But still Crouch is prepared to get involved and invest more of his own money, Why ? , Because he is a real supporter of Southampton Football Club. Respect to the man.
-
Be Interesting to hear who Rupert is going to blame this on........... Definately not his fault , Nothing is !!
-
Wilde and Lowe have just been escorted from the premises
saintstr1 replied to exit2's topic in The Saints
I know I am thick on these financial shennanigans but how can someone step in and buy the club from the administrator when the club is not in administration,SLH are the ones in Administration................ Or am I wrong? -
I think there is everyneed , Especially when some idiot starts blaming the likes of Lawrie Mac. You have to look no further than LOWE & WILDE. I will be the first to admit that we might still have been heading for financial problems & Administration had Crouch & Pearson stayed on but I am 100% sure we would have been in a far better position to deal with it, Our gates this season would have been much higher as would our points total. We could have probably taken a 10 point hit and remained in the CCC. I will say it again ALL our present woe's have been caused by LOWE & WILDE. They are a cancer at SFC and the club will only improve once they are removed for good.
-
What the F@@k has all this got to do with Lawrie Mac???? It Starts and Ends with LOWE & WILDE , They are the ones that have royally f@@ked the club. 120odd years of history up the swannee due to the complete incompetence and arrogance of this pair of a$$holes

Lets hope we are all switched on for tonight , For what its worth I would start with Mcgoldrick on the bench tonight and play Lallana in the hole leaving Jason Eull up front where he has been very effective.
