  1. I'm all for a revamp of the catering. When I buy my pasty at half-time I have to wrap it in a half-dozen serviettes an stuff it in my pocket until near on the final whistle. Only then has it cooled down enough to eat. Do they have a thermonuclear reactor in the oven in the Northam end or what???! And let's get rid of the sh!te lager. But the most important thing next season...... Is to win the bloody division!!
  2. I've just watched the video of John Higgins over on the NOTW website. http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/video/?videoId=2160_801939&videoChannel=NOTW:News Bang to rights. He is ruined. If his defense is that he was scared and just wanted to go along then he should watch the video too. And what was he there for in the first place? You don't just happen to be in Kiev with your manager and randomly bump into a bunch of people who want you to fix snooker games. Frankly, I love snooker, but anyone who is daft enough to bet on a snooker game is asking to be defrauded.
  3. Well she hasn't come out to see the reporters so how do we know he hasn't killed her? Or abducted her until after the election. I wouldn't put it past Brown to plant child porn in her house and then tip off the police so she is completely slated. That is the sort of thing New Labour/Brown does.
  4. Gordon Brown is a complete donkey. Bye bye Brown. You have stuffed this country up, ruined the economy, sunk us into a debt spiral of massive proportions and then when some one gets in your face about it you pretend to like them in front of the cameras and then slag them off when you think no one will notice. You are nasty little twerp who was never elected to be PM in the first place. **** off and leave office now. You are a disgrace. Sod off.
  5. kinda swinging that way too. I am a weirdo when it comes to voting. I vote Green in local elections (mainly because here in Hove a vote for the Greens actually means something), I vote UKIP in European elections and so put my cross against Mr Farage's name last time around and I have been an active member of the Conservative Party in the past. My heart is split: We need a strong Green and LOCAL economy, which can only be delivered if we are freed from the (evil) undemocratic statism of the EU, but we also need a strong defense force including Trident - in the years ahead the world is only going to get scarier and I will sleep better at night knowing that there is a brace of subs 'some where out there' with the capability of flattening Tehran etc if push should come to shove. And the Greens, at a national level, are not the ticket for either keeping Trident or telling Brussels to stuff off. And then UKIP are just a mess when it comes to national politics. I will continue to vote UKIP at European elections but it is a complete waste of a vote at national level. The Liberals got my attention with their awesome policy of zero tax for the first ten grand earned. The most sensible and decent proposal I have heard all election. But then Clegg likes to make love to Europe and wants to ditch Trident so we are back to square one. So, it will probably be Cameron's lot who gets my vote, but purely because they are the default. That is if I can be buggered to go cast my vote at all. As an ex-active-Tory I am underwhelmed by Cameron. One thing is absolutely certain: my mortal body will be cold, dead and buried before I even allow a single synapse to think about voting Labour. Brown is a disgrace. As for the outcome? I am longing for a hung-parliament. We all know that nothing will ever change who ever we vote for so the spectacle of the dogs all fighting for power will provide a few weeks of entertainment until the start of the world cup. Might even be good for the over-opinionated muppets to realize that they have to work together for a change. But Clegg is quite correct, if Labour don't win there is no way Brown can remain PM. None. He wasn't even elected in the first place.
  6. Clegg's a ****. End of.
  7. ...Mods, can the thread in The Lounge be a sticky on the main board please. Details there....
  8. Yes, Mods. This could/should be a sticky on the main Saints board. I know many Saints fans in HM forces and Help for Heroes is a very well respected charity helping our brave service men and women. From the Help for Heroes website (http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/) : Help for Heroes is strictly non-political. We have no affiliation with any political party and we do not endorse the use of our name for the promotion of any political viewpoint. The money that we raise at Help for Heroes is used to support wounded Servicemen and women of every colour and creed and we strongly oppose any individual or political party who believes otherwise, and those who seek to use the charity’s name for their own political gain. Also Viking Warrior is asking for donations through Just Giving - which is a bonefide portal for taking charitable donations and as such HM Treasury will provide Gift Aid relief for all donations made by UK taxpayers through Just Giving. Let's get this up on the main board as a sticky! Just remember, it isn't the politicians who fight wars, it is the sailors, soldiers and airmen.
  9. The cause is that political correctness has hamstrung the main parties from confronting the issue of race, religion and mass-immigration. And hence multi-culturism - the yeast which raises the fascist dough - has been the most sacrosanct and destructive ideology of the last generation. I maintain that there are thankfully very, very few true 'genome' racists in Britain - those who adhere to the believe that one race is genetically superior to another - as was certainly the case in Nazi Germany. What we do have is a whole swathe of people who have been marginalized by the New Labour project in favour of sucking up to big business and the bankers. These people are frightened and in despair - they are not represented by toffy-nosed thieves in Westminster. Fertile soil for fascism. A black man - like Jermaine Defoe - who represents his (predominantly white) country in a football world cup in a (predominantly black) country such as South Africa is not 'multi-cultural'. He is English. And when the politicos grasp this and stop bleating about the joys of multi-culturism and start being a bit more patriotic then the BNP will shrivel and die.
  10. Well I reckon Elgar will be turning in his grave. How dare these t0ssers hijack Britain's most distinguished composer as their own. And as for using video of Churchill, well that just leaves me cold. If Churchill was alive today and he shared a platform with Griffin he would wipe the floor with him. Anyone dumb enough to swallow that nonsense and believe that Griffin is Churchill's equal - or that they both in anyway share the same ideals and political philosophy - needs his head examined. Vote BNP - Vote Racist. EDIT: And any Saints fan who votes BNP and then goes to football and cheers for Mssrs Antonio, Waigo, Puncheon, Thomas, Jaidi, McLaggon, Thomson or Gobern is not only an idiot but a hypocritical idiot.
  11. Would still prefer Pickion (sp?). Think he is on loan to the skates from Lyon. Probably couldn't entice him to div 3, he is too good. An outstanding player imho and the only reason the skates are back at wembley.
  12. There are many financiers and economists who believe that the Euro will fall apart within a decade as the tensions within it are just to large. The best thing for Greece to do would be to quit the Euro, go back to a (debased) Drachma and inflate/default the debt. As for our membership of the Euro? The one good thing Gordon Plonker Brown did was to keep us out. Blair wanted us in so he could give even more fellatio to his buddies in Europe. We should never join. Not ever. There are no benefits in the long run.
  13. If anyone thinks the BNP are not racist they should be committed under the mental health act. The BNP are not only racist, they are completely incompetent. That said, I am glad that the BNP exists as it gives a legitimate way for people to air very real grievances which the main parties should pick up. Just so long as the BNP don't get any real power. I am also a strident supporter of free speech and its side-kick freedom of association so I support the BNP's absolute right to exist, within the confines of the law, and will defend their right to voice their (repugnant) views. Only by tolerating those with whom we strongly disagree to have a political platform can we truly call ourselves a free country.
  14. Written large across the ballot paper words to the effect of: "You are all fornicating masterbaters and only in it for what you can get out of it. I would rather eat my own feces than take part in this sham democratic process when you are all completely the ****ing same" Think that will do the trick and let them know that my vote is for none of them?
  15. Yeah, to be honest I would not do it. Apart from the fact that you will look like a plonker if found out, I believe that CVs are only useful for getting the interview in the first place. Once you are seated across from the recruiter it doesn't matter what is on the CV. Then is the time to let yourself shine.
  16. Where are you walking from/to? Can we sponsor you? Help 'for' Heroes is an excellent charity. I used to only support two national charities: RNLI and Poppies but have added H4H to my list.
  17. two pairs of socks. One thin, tight fitting pair on the inside and a looser pair on the outside.
  18. what a complete c\/nt !!!
  19. if i had to have a 'second' club it would have to be Brighton. Have always looked out for them and am glad they appear to be getting their **** together at last.
  20. Yes, well done Cherries. Welcome to the 'big time' of division three football Look forward to seeing you next season. You can be our friendly rivals, while the t0ssers down the road remain our bitter rivals.
  21. Not me. I am also the only humanoid life form on the planet who has never even been on the Facebook website, let alone use it. I might hang out on this forum every now and again but other than that I use computers to earn a living so I can go and meet my friends face to face. Personally I think people who use twitter, facebook and other so-called 'social networking' sites must be pretty sad individuals. A bit like using a dating-site. How sad!
  22. Stuff pompey and their squalid little sh!te hole of a town. Their demise is the best entertainment I have seen for years.
  23. ...a loaf of bread... (once inflation kicks in big time)
  24. I bet you in three seasons time Pards will be managing a Premiership club.
  25. Couldnae give a stuff who the presenter is. It is the footie I watch...
