  1. I'm more concerned at Puncheon's hand in Morgan's crotch !@@#$!! But seeing you mentioned Ricky, I agree that he hasn't locked up for it in recent games. Maybe the close marking is upsetting, but he's nothing to worry about, we're really lucky to have such an amazing goal scorer.
  2. Noticed yesterday Andy Crosbie was up and took over shouting on the touchline from Nigel who took a break sitting down. Maybe they are a double act, or about to come our as such. Didn't do Brian Cluff and Peter Taylor any harm working as Dual Managers. Anyone with issues with Matt Le Tiss needs to follow his son, the legend that was 13 year old Mitch Le Tissier. Matt hold's back on some issues but Mitch doesn't mince his opinions on Twitter.
  3. No, Jack CORK is Jack CORK, he's pure class and absolutely amazing. For me, Jack compares to no one, he's his own man and a true Saint. A future legend.

    Puncheon

Have seen the similarities to Fabrice myself. In fact in today's game a number of players seem to have been playing high speed crop circles, the one thing that is going to take us up the league. Great comments from david from sweden who obviously was watching the same match as myself.
  5. I've been a hug3 fan of Jack since he returned to the club. For me. Jack is a true Saint and gives everything to his game. It's no surprise to see the defence playing much better since his return from injury. Have to say a good word for Luke Shaw who is getting better every game. Disappointed JWP isn't involved as I believe he'll link up so well with Cork and Shaw and provide the team with excellence. Think that Kelvin should get some play when Gazza shows signs of losing it. Still think Gazza is one for the long haul.
  6. I seriously think this escalation and Gaza conflict is the preparation by the US and Israel for an attack on Iran's nuclear plant. Why else would Israel impose such a heightened state of alert and mass call up. It also provides media distraction for Britain and France's armament of Syria's opposition. The powder keg have been lit and we are about to see the Middle East explode on numerous fronts.
  7. The current situation gives a lot of credit to the December 21st 2012 predictions. The whole Middle East could soon be in flames with Israel resorting to a nuclear catastrophy if Iran gets involved. You'd have thought Egypt would have learned from past bravado and going to war which they came off so badlyl
  8. Last nights Sweden- England game and Ibrahimovic's overhead goal had memories of one of the most incredible goals scored at the Dell. How many can remember DAVID WEBB scoring exactly in the same way at the Dell. What also made it so memorable was it was wcored at the end of his debut for Saints against promotion rivals Wolves. It was breathtaking and had supporters talking about it for a long time after. I can recall him often using the overhead kick in making clearances but can't recall him ever scoring another amazing goal in that way. How many recall Webb's goal and the excitement it caused?
  9. Schizophrenia and paranoia within the supporter base!!!!
  10. In reality Nicola is seated with Markus Liebherr and listens to what the master whispers down from above into his ear. By seating alone he is able to form his own opinions and not let himself be influenced by those with an agenda. The TV at the end of the match showed Reed moving onto his left side and muttering away to him and his expressionless face. As for the Poppy did anyone see him without his trench coat? A Poppy can be worn on a jacket or a jumper and if he was feeling kinky perhaps on his YFronts, Speedos or Boxers.

    The Adkins way

These players were sold because S****horpe could no longer afford them. What's sad is he immediately bought them or tried to buy them for Saints having previously got relegated with them in his Championship team. Previously I have pointed out the S****horpe promotion.relegation at a team the majority were saying Adkins could do no wrong. I still have faith in his long term success but we badly need to bring in an older/experienced Premier League to work along side him. Reed is definitely not the answer. Interesting to see on TV Reed moving on to Cortese at the final whistle and muttering into his ear.

    The Adkins way

The Adkins way for me is looking at every game through rose colored glasses and his near blind optimism Being optimistic is okay most of the time but we've reached the point he has to see players and his tactics for what they are....greatly lacking!!!
  13. What a bad example he sets! His appointment as Captain is one of the main reasons for our current dilemma. Things won't change till we have a Captain who leads, dominates the game in a way to inspire not be an embarrassment and ponce.
  14. Let's see how much he plays, how much enthusiasm he puts into his game, a game we must win.
  15. I thought Gaston left for South America this morning and will be playing for Uruguay on Wednesday, will get injured and out till just before Uruguay's next game. You couldn't make it up the crap we can ourselves involved in.
  16. Agree that Gordon would bring little more than Nigel already does. Sad to say it but only Harry with Joe Jordan, and perhaps Hoddle would give us more options. My fear with a choice of Hoddle is he's been out of the Premier League too long.
  17. Appleton deserves a knighthood for putting up with the situation so long. Bet few can name someone else who's gone thru all he's had in the past 12 months and put together a team to compete and sometimes win in League One.

    Cortese

Hearts too have had a banking mogul as a chairman, who loans money rather than spend his own money. Beginning to see similarities with the Hearts situation and just hope it's not the road Nicola plans to take the club before pulling out and setting us adrift.
  19. Need to recall Hammond, get shot of Davis and reinstate JPW into the team. Every player has the odd off game but Davis has more off games than good. Morgan can't be faulted for playing with players of little quality. He'll soon return to form when we get decent players playing along side him. High time Jack Cork was fit again and ready to get in there.
  20. Instead of the results improving we're regressing. Time to revert to the team we fielded against the two Manchester teams and tweak things with better substitutions and leaving Ricky on to play the full game. Couldn't get much worse.
  21. The most foolish thing I've heard is from those saying we should stick with Adkins even if we get relegated. That Nigel would get us bouncing right back again. FOR WHAT? To return and still be incapable of competing in the Premier League all over again. At some point the club has to draw a line under Adkins abilities (or lack of) building a side able to do well in this League. Sentiment has no place in the game nowadays. We are in the Premier League to survive and win games. Not pussyfoot around and repeat over and over the same old folly and mistakes. It almost seems like Nigel is a modern day King Canute. He's stubbornly hanging on, when its just not working.
  22. Nice to see dune posting again by the way.
  23. This is not a joke but we are about to relive the Delgado saga with Ramirez going to be playing more for Uraguay than Saints. Just look at their schedule for the rest of the season, and, expect injury time taking up the rest with a game or two to make up for the 12 million transfer fee. Someone swore after Delgado finally departed that we'd never sign another South American again. It's coming back to haunt us.
  24. One of the quickest routes to Europe is winning the Capital Cup. To say we're not interested is sheer folly.
  25. I think in preparation, folk ought to spend the weekend building a bonfire in the carpark at St Mary's in readiness for if we lose again on Monday night. That way all would be ready for the return from Brum. Nigel would do well to stick a rocket or two up the players backsides to help the players from losing their concentration.
