Thought how well he's looking in yesterday's training photos. He's filling out, looks stronger and for sure he's going to be a real top player. No Saints players makes me feel prouder than Prowsie and Jack Cork.

SKY reporting that Koeman doesn't want to let any more players leave. Saints hope to keep Lovren Wednesday 2nd July 2014 14:29 Sky sources understand that Southampton are reluctant to let any other players leave, despite speculation linking Dejan Lovren with a possible move. Saints have already sold three of their star players this summer, with midfielder Adam Lallana and striker Rickie Lambert joining Liverpool, while defender Luke Shaw has signed for Manchester United. The loss of the England trio has weakened the squad at St Mary's and reports have suggested that Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs are keen to lure defender Lovren away. But new manager Ronald Koeman is determined to keep the rest of his players as he starts planning for the upcoming Premier League campaign. The Dutchman, who succeeded Mauricio Pochettino last month, is more interested in recruiting players, with the club thought to have tabled a bid for Feyenoord striker Graziano Pelle. Saints are also thought to be closing on a deal for winger Dusan Tadic after agreeing a fee with FC Twente.

I think you meant FORSTER out. I prefer FOSTER as in Ben FOSTER. Don't think much of Forster.

What's become of us looking for a new goalkeeper? Goalkeeper was Poortviet's first priority and we end up with Forecast. I like Ben Foster. Thought he played really well in England's last game. Confident and doesn't panic, I'd loved to see us paying out a small sum to bring Andrew Surman back to his spiritual home. He's been out in limbo for far to long.

ADAM LALLANA'S A W A N K E R CLATTENBURG WAS RIGHT ADAM LALLANA'S A W A N K E R YOU TURNED TO S H I T E

Besides various LALLANA media contacts it's reported in the Daily Star http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/386823/REVEALED-Angry-Adam-Lallana-made-Southampton-threats-to-push-through-Liverpool-move REVEALED: Angry Adam Lallana made Southampton threats to push through Liverpool move ANGRY Adam Lallana stunned Southampton by threatening never to play for the club again if they didn't let him join Liverpool. By Jack Wilson/Published 2nd July 2014 TWENTY'S PLENTY: Lallana will wear the number 20 at Anfield next season [ [Liverpool FC via Getty Images] ] The England midfielder, 26, has been at the Saints since he was 12 but left amid a storm yesterday. He had become increasingly frustrated that Southampton were trying to stop him leaving. And Lallana was so desperate to push through a switch to Anfield that he told St Mary's chiefs he would REFUSE to play. A club source told Starsport: "Adam threw his toys out of the pram and said he would never play for the club again if they did not accept Liverpool's offer. It left a bitter taste." Lallana eventually left in a £25m deal which sees him join ex-Saints team-mate Rickie Lambert at Liverpool. The former skipper said: "I'm grateful that Southampton accepted the offer in the end and granted my wish to play at such a fantastic football club, in Champions League football and competing for Premier League titles."

Fantastic idea but leave out the "Seems". The Liverpool Echo or Liverpool rag would be the best and on the day we play them at Anfield.
-
How Lallana ever was chosen as Club Captain I still haven't come to grips with. On afterthought, it has to have been Cortese's means to stopping him leaving last season. Lallana just doesn't have an ounce of responsibility in him. He's a coward, a miserly and miserable coward. A feathered Kipper!! For sure he knew all about the full page ad and couldn't have been bothered to write his so called heart felt feelings. What stinks most is he doesn't include his teammates and friends at Southampton Football Club. Think what he likes of Katharina, Reed and the Board but surely his teammates and friends, not to mention his mentors meant something to him.

Lallana completes move to LFC for a fee of around £25m
ART replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I would like to thank you and others for putting me right yesterday over Sharp's number. Don't know how I got that all confused.I had it in my head Sharp wore the No 20 at the friendly against Eastleigh pre season last year. (Norm always said I was useless with figures!!!??) -
People talk about Harry's wheeler dealing but Hodgson's been doing exactly the same. The only person to blame for the deluge of players leaving Southampton Football Club with inflated egos is Hodgson. In the case of Lallana Adam's bromance with Gerrard surely sent him beyond all limits. Don't blame Pochettino as I am certain that Pochettino came to learn of all the intended player exits and decided to take up the Spuds offer. Hodgson should be banned from St Mary's and declared Persona non grata. I would hope it won't be long before his role in aiding England players join Liverpool will be closely scrutinised and fully investigated.

Heeheehee!!!! He's been given the Number 20, which I believe was Billy Sharp's number at Saints. Hope some of Billy's constant loan saga luck is attached to that number. -

Do you give him that long? The mere change in his training regime will surely stir up many a niggle or two -

Alex Crook is going to make some revelations concerning Lallana's departure from Saints. That's what all the nod, nod, wink wink is about. You don't stab your life long best mate in the back, leave him for dead, and, expect everyone to remember all the years of togetherness without pain and vengeful thoughts. -
A number of others aren't to be seen in the videos, such as your idol Billy Sharp. Not everyone is outside. Some players will be undergoing medicals inside. The Echo clearly says he will be there. He might not see his future here but who;s playing his wages if he weren't to appear? Money talks!

It appears the delay was for Saints to receive the transfer of funds from Liverpool. As for the watch, it would be around long as it'll be nicked before he can take his first shower. PS Tell him to get that fence and eyesore sorted and erect it at his new abode.
-
"Fonte now 30 and may a limited shelf life"!!!!!!!! Osvaldo will be 29 next January. Hardly worth destroying the heart of the club again for an also limited shelflife.
-
Echo says the deal is completed and Adam's left on vacation. Elsewhere they report Dany Osvaldo is back and will be expected today at Staplewood. Wonder whether all the players exiting has anything to do with a decision to bring Osvaldo back. Can't believe the clubs not got that sorted yet. Only going to get Koeman's reign of to a very bad start atmosphere wise.
-
They've been reporting this since around 13.45pm but Rodgers himself said around 17.00pm there was nothing to announce yet.
-
Probably the delay is a clause to ensure he continues to be supplied with his designer New Forest Pony Boots
-
If it's not the medical, could it be a delay due to Liverpool wanting to sign Lovren too? Maybe the deal that's been agreed with Saints is interlinked on the price. Who else of ours are they after?
-
Your promise to be positive didn't last long. Just about everything posted today is so negative, oh so depressing!!!!!!!!!!!

Why feel sorry for Brighton? Dodd and Williams are still available! I wonder where all this finished up and who is his Agent http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/bolton-wanderers/10750963/Bolton-chairman-Phil-Gartside-and-ex-manager-Sammy-Lee-accused-of-cheating-agent-over-sale-of-Gavin-McCann.html

I'm now beginning to see why everyone at Saints gets given a special watch!!
-
The article I posted last night from Liverpool Kop referred that negotiations with Saints were still dealing with finer details. ( "but the Reds are still negotiating the finer details with Southampton") Might that insinuate that someone from Liverpool coming in our direction? Hence the delay.I certainly hope not unless it were Philippe Coutinho. More likely to be the medical requiring in depth tests that take longer.

Let's see how he enjoys his home being broken into, trashed. What a great area to bring up and educate a beloved son and take his missus. Gerrard has had his place done in a number of times. I reckon this going to Liverpool could just be a softener for him joining up with Pochettino at Spuds. This is maybe what's held up the deal being complete. Maybe Spuds have put in an offer, although I can't see them forking out the same salary or getting into the Champions League any sooner than us.
