  1. Ok in that regards your right. See not ashamed to say when I am wrong. But the point remains the same regardless of who is suing who. Until it happens it is just threats.
  2. NC is a knob = fact
  3. I have read it. The key word is "dispute" meaning Noun A disagreement, argument, or debate Like I said it sounds as Benali is threatening to go to court but not actually going through with it. Maybe this threatening is what he was banned for?
  4. Pretty sure that isn't true. Doubt very much a guy who has said everyone needs to pay their own way i.e tickets will then use the clubs funds to pay things for himself i.e houses. Cortese is a multi-millionaire don't forget. There are two court case reasons mentioned the property and unpaid Ambassador fees. One would be against the club (the fees) and the other would be personal (renting property) Either way it does not take nearly 4 years to take someone to court over property damage. A clown (not literally) crashed into a wall outside my neighbours house and totalled it. The guy didn't pay it and told a load of ******** to the police about what happened (he was 17) so they took him to court. Case lasted about 1hr and he had to pay for the repair and court costs. It isn't rocket science. It appears as though Benali is threatening to do it, not actually doing it.
  5. What annoys me most about this whole thing is the people who will defend Matty and imply you should agree with whatever he says because he scored loads of goals. If you don't then your anti-Southampton and anti-legends. Which is a load of ********. Like anything if something good happens it is deserving of praise and when something bad happens it is deserving of criticism. Nobody should be given a free ride to say what they want and you agree with it simply because of past actions. Each situation should be judge seperatly. In this instance I simply fail to see how anyone can defend Matty. Just in the same way I fail to see how anyone could say the way in which Cortese sacked Adkins was defendable. We at least now know what the issues are finally. Le Tiss is unhappy Benali is not allowed in the club and not happy the club are not as involved with the ex saints group. I don't think any of us knew that Benali was suing the club for ambassador fees. I don't think many of us even knew he was an ambassador! So how can it be people claim he wants what is right for the club but yet happy to support a friend who is suing it? The fact this court case has taken so long to me sounds as it won't even get to court, more a case of threatening to do it. Matty has talked at length about wanting what is right for the club and was given his chance to go meet Cortese and re-build the bridges. I think every single one of us wants that to happen. But imagine if it was Cortese who then went to the press and said the things Matty has said would people sticking up for him have then been the same with Cortese? Of course you wouldn't. Personally I wonder if he did this on purpose as he must of known taking shots in the press again at Cortese was bound to get the meeting cancelled. Which is a shame for the fans. But now it has happened I just hope MLT can finally deal with this thing away from the press. It is a personal feud and has nothing to do with us lot. Should remain private.
  6. Either an official stat company or a fans forum. Tough decision!
  7. http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/PR/attend.html Our stadium is 93% full. Everton's is 90%.
  8. It would depend on what the pricing was. If it is kept at the current pricing then no chance. But if it is copying German style pricing I.e £10 a ticket then filling it wouldn't be a problem. Look at places like Schalke. They have a 62k stadium in a city with a 250k population. The problem is in England ticket prices are out of control, it isn't about how many fans we have but more about how many fans are willing to pay nearly £30 a game. In the current financial climate? But of course we wouldn't go the German route as it isn't the English way of ripping off your customers. So therefore it isn't needed and won't happen. But then again we have a guy in charge with obvious close connections with Germany as do the owners so who knows....
  9. Just watched little Granada beat Real Madrid. This year La Liga is a lot worse then last years. PL is light years ahead. It would be great to see how Barca would do in a league like the PL where all the money is shared equally rather then how it is in Spain where Barca and Madrid get about 95% of it between them. Might put a bet on Man Utd winning 4-0 against Madrid in the cl.
  10. Right now he isn't worth that money but I bet he will be once he learns the English game. Few come over and settle into the PL straight away. Especially from Italy where it is a lot slower and you have more time on the ball. From what I have seen (which is most games he has played) he tends to make selfish decisions i.e not pass when he should or takes shots from far out. He also seems a bit too lightweight but that won't matter as he adjusts to the style. He will come good in the end as you can see he is a quality player.
  11. Nope. Beautiful to watch and with a few better players it will be even better. Rather that then long ball mode or total football. We are only in our first season back in the pl and to be playing the way we are is just amazing to see. Still scoring goals and if people defended better we would have more points. Proud to be a Saints fan and proud of the way we are playing. Watching us 2nd half at old Trafford was a joy to behold. Get better defence wise and we will be a very good team. Next season I think we will bring in far better defenders.
  12. Why do we have two GTA 5 threads? Maybe mods should combine them like they do on main forum
  13. Like I said very unlikely Sony will wait until E3 to announce the PS4. EA today said they will show off Fifa and Battlefield next gen games in a few months at an event and today sony have put this up "Sony inviting gamers to 'see the future'" [video=youtube;d-3GMHIgR-U] Looks as though the March prediction was pretty close. There is zero chance either of them will be released in 2014. They will be released this year as they have no AAA announced titles lined up for this year. They have both gone into secret mode for well over a year and the reason E3 2011 and 12 were so crap was because they know the next gen was a few years away so need to put full focus into the games for them. Major Nelson works for Microsoft (the blogger you talk of) and has put countless countdowns on his blog in the past. One of them counted down to a new Microsoft phone. Microsoft and Sony will not announce their new consoles at E3 it will be done at their own events as has been done in the past. The 360 was announced/shown/unveiled on a Microsoft show on MTV. They will want an event all to themself to get maximum exposure ala Apple style. They won't want it to get trumped at E3 by something else.
  14. Said before the season that we will stay up and still think we will. The only way we will go down is if Rickie/Morgan and Cork get injuries (please god no). Or if the manager goes on one of his losing the dressing room crusades like he did at Espanyol. Personally I think we will be alright and maybe end up being above all the teams who came up with us by the end of it.
  15. Exactly. His agent saw the pay day and took him there himself to collect. No regard for the amount of money he has been paid by West Brom or the loyalty they shown him. Agents need to be sorted out by Fifa big time. IMO they are the reason everything is spiraling out of control finances wise.
  16. Release date now confirmed http://uk.ign.com/articles/2013/01/31/grand-theft-auto-v-gets-a-september-release-date Guessing there will be a next gen version
  17. Looks good but I can't help thinking they have stolen a fair bit from The Walking Dead game i.e a older guy and younger girl trying to get across country together. IGN did a good article about it the other day. Seems pretty much Uncharted cross Walking Dead. Which has huge potential to be good but there doesn't seem much original with it really. Naughty Dog have a good history of making good games so sure it will be decent.
  18. Agree we are a better team. But right now they have a better home record then we do. And over the past 8 games we have only got 1 point more then them. As I said in my post I would rather not have to go there and win. We have a really bad record there. One win since 1997. Only two wins in the last 20 years.
  19. To get to 40 points we need another 17. So that is pretty much 5 wins and a few draws. Looking at our fixtures we got these left Wigan (A) - possible win Citeh (H) - points are a bonus Newcastle (A) - points are a bonus QPR (H) - possible win Norwich (A) - possible win Liverpool (H) - points are a bonus Chelsea (H) - points are a bonus Reading (A) - possible win West Ham (H) - possible win Swansea (A) - points are a bonus West Brom (H) - possible win Spurs (A) - points are a bonus Sunderland (A) - possible points Stoke (H) - possible points While we could get points at some of those I think realisticly some are worth not banking on i.e Newcastle and Swansea. Our away record isn't that great. The must get something/win games are Wigan/QPR/Norwich/Reading/West Ham/West Brom. Both West Ham and West Brom have just a poor record as we do away so we should be taking advantage of that. Plus Wigan,West Ham and Norwich are in freefall. All have 5 points from the last 8 games. Win those 6 games and we stay up. So at Wigan I think we need the win because a draw or loss there means we need a win somewhere else. And looking at the fixtures I would rather not have to play Citeh/Spurs/Chelsea/Liverpool/Newcastle needing a result.
  20. seriously wtf is Fox doing? Yoshida has had to cover his ass so many times as he has gone inside
  21. Fox is looking shockingly bad
  22. billy sharp‏@billysharp10 On the way to Manchester for the game. #saintsfc pic.twitter.com/XFMv5zVi Some people really do need to calm down with replies on here. It isn't a battle ground....
  23. Personally I would go with -----------Boruc------------- ------------------------------ Clyne--Yoshida--Jos-----Shaw ------Morgan----Cork--------- -----------Ramirez----------- Rod---------------------Puncheon -----------Lambo-------------- I don't think having Forren start at Old Trafford would be a good idea. Better to bring him in gradualy from the bench. Fox shouldn't be in the side in games like these. He is no winger and not a great left back. Would rather keep Shaw there where he has done so well this season and move Jay Rod to the flank with Gaston being the play maker in the hole. We are going to need Morgan and Cork to defend a lot and hope we can get them on the counter.
  24. Started unemployed and zero past experience. Pretty difficult and takes you to some weird places (if you have all leagues running like me). Started at Havant, got them promoted to Blue Premier and then moved to Hacken in Sweden and won the league and cup. Got offered the Ipswich job who were at that time in league one at the bottom. Got them promoted back to championship and was offered the Feynoord job who were in the 2nd division. Got them promoted back to top league and now have them sitting top after 2 years of re-building in top flight and mid table finishes. Interestingly I re-look at the PL and see Arsenal and Man Utd have been relegated and Derby are top with Villa 2nd and Man Citeh 3rd. In la liga Barca are currently 15th and Real Sociedad are current champions with Zaragoza 2nd. Real are 6th. In Italy Lazio got relegated. The other leagues look a bit more normal. It is a good game but the performances of some teams just seems really wrong. And some transfers seem odd too. Like Rooney left Man Utd and moved to Norwich. Andy Carroll has turned into a player who misses training and get's constant fines and Da Silva at Citeh is listed for loan in the reserves. Hope these things get fixed in the next patch as it is quite laughable really. What is the point in playing if it isn't realistic?
  25. Maybe it is time we got a petition together to send to the government (think you need 200k signatures) As it cant be right that people are being sacked, pay cuts while administrators are taking home that money that could of kept those people employed. They have been in admin almost a year and look no better for it. It is a slap in the face to all those people at other companies who lost their jobs because they went into admin. It is a scandal that they allow them to continue for so long.
