So basically we are playing man city with no Midfield .......wonderful

Against Everton in the first half we had a midfield and an attack completely lacking in structure and direction , the ball was passed backwards and forwards(sideways and sideways actually) between Calca, Ketchup and Jwp who dropped back to receive the ball. When we did break forward quickly the wing backs got into a good crossing position and rolled it backwards allowing the Everton defence to get sorted . In the second half after we went behind it became a gun ho attack and was actually better . I honestly believe our defence is no fine , with Lavia the midfield is ok but needs coaching to release forward quicker and we still need a big pelle, beattie type target striker . Ralph is not the man to sort this sadly nd if Sam Wallace now says he is toast his days are numbered.

Honestly I think Ralph knows he has run his course , on Saturday his body language stunk he stood on the edge of his technical box with his arms folded not animated at all, however it was noticeable that Selles was behind in the Technical box screaming directions and gesturing to the players ....how often do you see the assistant coach instructing the team while the manager stands like a statue!!

My summary fwiw The first half we were disjointed and didn't look like the midfield had any idea what they were doing , I lost count of the pointless parallel passing between ketchup caleta CA and jwp . Jwp gave the ball away as did amn truly an aweful first half . Second half marginally better , Stuart Armstrong doesn't look fit to me was waisted by 60 minutes. Was noticable that Selles was standing behind Ralph pointing and screaming at the players while Ralph had his arms crossed saying nought . It kicked off in the itchen north when Everton scored there second ,two twats give it large and the stewards try to ignore them one in a orange hoodie was particularly obnoxious sticking the v up to saints fans , it was mad very clear to the stewards if they didn't remove him some of the older saints fans were gonna take it upon themselves to remove him . The club did bring in stewards and police and removed them both credit where due

We do still need a big Pelle type striker desperately AMN would be nice , Garner has a high ceiling so yes as well but not urgent because Lavia is will be our first choice DM now . Today was really bad , i was in block 4 of itchen north and surrounded by Mancs , no Saints fan would buy a half and half scarf and i was surrounded by them . There was a little manc twat in front of me towards the half way line ...he was standing singing with the Manc fans goading everyone around him only when a large 50 year old skin head told him to sit down you C1nt did he stop it ten minutes from the end , the saints fan who told him to wind it in then got a lecture from the stewards...madness
