We got 5 in the home end, Devonport stand. just say you are exiled Pilgrims coming back home over the bank holiday, and want to go to Home Park to give the club some financial support in their hour of need. If your not in an SO postcode, should work too... let us know if it works, so others can try.

in order... worst... Farton Park - no comment needed then ...Withdean - refused to go yesterday. Its a joke! (mind you, gutted I didnt go, now!) then.... Filbert Street - Away at Filbert Street must have been like an away fan going to the Dell and Wolves.... Their fans watching us, not the game... then the Subway after the game,

Well we are a hard lot to please. We get a local channel covering just our local teams. Every team gets a mention each week. The presentation is different, and they have a lot to cram into a short time span. Murts was really wooden and probably nervous when he first started, but he has grown into the role. Its not a bad effort, me thinks. geez, I remember the days when the only mention of Saints was a 2 second comment whenever we played a 'bigger' side!!

Hemel Saint replied to Thedelldays's topic in Saints Away Supporters
St Kev7 we are travelling down from Herts (Hemel / Watford). Normally drive to games, but this time we are doing the train. Group Save tickets will cost between £40-£50 each (return), welcome to join us... -

For those of us sitting in with the home fans... which stand is everyone sitting in... we are in the Devonport End. We have been told to avoid The Zoo Corner, as we may be putting ourselves at risk. DellDays, do you know which stand(s) Zoo Corner is in? -

We have just secured 5 tickets in the Plymouth home end. REDDER FREAK if you are Exeter based and an EX postcode, you should have no problem getting a ticket in the home fans section too... -
more noise from our lot... enjoy...
-
Agreed! Ssaid to my mates at the time, when we win and the crowd noise is as 'thumping' as it was, please dont crank the pointless tunes and drown the crowd out. Whats the point? If we ever lose, fine.... crank the crap music up and drown out the away fans. Simples!

Not everyone. Loads of Saints drink in London Bridge before London games. Just 30mins on the tube to Leyton.

Charlton away Tuesday 22nd March tickets
Hemel Saint replied to RonManager's topic in Saints Away Supporters
We normally drink in London Bridge before hand, easy jaunt then on the overland to Charlton. Lots of great pubs in the area, especially around Borough Market. -
and if its not sped up by the happy-clappy speed it up merchants, this is what it can sound like....
-
Slow the bloody speed of the songs down, and more folks would get involved...

I am in 42 and got to say I was ashamed. How the eff is the player going to feel at the next home game? Was he not Top Man at Exeter away!! We really do have some toss fans, waving season tickets, calling others 'plastic fans'.... and ruining every bloody song by speedy it up. If I can get my mats to agree, I really fancy moving my season ticket back to the Itchen North (shame its not block 2 though!)... sigh!
-
COLSLAW will be there too... coming from Hemel/Watford (and also a pick-up near Oxford). Rochdale will be tough... since 10th December they have Played 10.... and Won 7 / Drawn 3!!
-
Dont think that's really true. Just check out the coaches parked outside SMS and look at the address (and tel Numbers) of the coach companies painted on the back. The majority are NOT from Manc! Mind you, when we were in the Premier League they do an annual report that showed SFC also had one of the most 'distant' fan bases (ie living more than 20 miles outside the home City).... like me!!!!
-
Got through to the ticket office on the 0800 number within a few seconds at 5.29pm. We have a a strange situation where me and my son have duplicate customer numbers on 2 different season tickets. A really helpful chap (Toby) said "not to worry, he would be sure he could sort it out". In a short while he was back with 2 season tickets swapped from Block 42 for Block 3. sorted! These guys generally get a bad press, and people dont often post the good stuff, so just wanted to balance it out a bit...

Here is a clip that really proves the point about the Northam. The Northam start singing the slow version... and then others constantly trying to start the clapping far too early and the song simply gets lost and fades away!!! It actually starts off really well, and the fast clappers try on a couple occasions to hijack and speed it up. sigh!!
-
Mate, Nice sentiments, but I can assure you that no true Saint will ever forget what Markus did for our club. never! "There's only one MARKUS LIEBHERR"
-
I would do this suggested route. There is Tube closures on Bank Holiday Monday for part of the District line. So you will have problems if you are looking to go from Central London all the way out to Daggers on the District Line! http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/livetravelnews/realtime/track.aspx?offset=weekend If you do the Jubilee line to WestHam then you could stop at London Bridge for your pre-match drinking. Dont forget to allow 45 mins for the tube journey out to Dagenham East via WestHam station... so may see some Saints at London Bridge???

Just got back from the Hartlepool game. Bloody thing was canceled!!! Flew up from Stansted on Friday and got back today (Sunday). To be fair the Snow was pretty heavy, 2-3 feet. however the Geordie lases were still out in the Big Market and Quayside with next to nothing on, in high heels trying to walk in 3 feet of snow. They are hard as nails them girls!
-
The simple fact is.... We get a great song organised. It gets some momentum on the Forum, and then it ventures out onto the Northam. But once agian we speed the bloody thing up ...it does not get time to spread, and it last 3 seconds. ps. and while I am winging.... The slow version of OWTSGMI needs at least 2 verses sung slowly, before the fast clappy-brigade come in!!!

I cant start my own threads, so placed it here... interesting topic from Echo on about our away support... http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/8635544.Saints_fans_keep_up_remarkable_away_following/?ref=rss here is a small snip ... (snip) Saints have the remarkable record of taking over 1,000 fans to every away league game this season. Their highest away following of the season was at Notts County where they notched up an impressive 2,229 and the lowest the trip to Yorkshire to face Huddersfield where their following still numbered 1,070. Saints’ average away following this season is around 1,400, which gives them pretty much the best away following in League One and one of the very best in the Football League...... (snip)
