Also with the truly bizarre youtube video where the presenter knows more than the panel but can't say anything. seems all a bit confused how club is trying to get message out!?

Seems that on the large part it was Russians to blame, but having been to England games abroad including the world cups in South Africa and Brazil there is a small-ish section intent on singing about 10 German bombers ( this was particularly cringey in Germany, when the Germans were such great hosts and welcoming) and about the IRA and singing nothing about football. It just leads to a really toxic aggressive atmosphere. Compare it to saints fans in Arnhem where we sung about the team, had a laugh with locals and generally felt more pleasant. Clearly England fans were attacked for the most part, but a tiny percentage don't help themselves with how they act abroad.. Just hope they can avoid Russians in Lens, and we can enjoy seeing England progress a bit.

omg grow up, get over it. Poch did a great job for us, he moved on, like players and managers will continue to do for the rest of time. Koeman replaced him and has done a great job. Why the animosity has worked out well for all parties. Nice to have him back at the club and says a lot about the man that he made the effort to come down for the testimonial.

Seems like a good deal, fair play to Ralph and commercial team. Next obvious move will be getting an American company/brand on the shirt. Interesting that we seem focused on North America where as other clubs have tended to look for growth in Far East. Maybe with China league booming could be great move by Saints.

Just back from game. Didn't look like dead cert penalty from where we were standing. Thought we were poor. Why we decided the best tactic was putting in loopy slow crosses into the middle was a good idea I will never know. Huth and Morgan found it so easy. Also they should have wrapped it up if it wasn't for Forster. Good atmos but found the clapping of them singing top of the league songs a bit ott.

Good result, thought we would lose, but typically in this bizarre season we win. Watching West Ham/Leicester there isn't much difference between us and them APART from Mahrez/Payet if we had one of them we would be in similar position. We just need to find that next gem this summer.

Was really annoyed at the final whistle - but when you think about it we were let down by a horror mistake and playing against a world class keeper. ANOTHER DAY - we would have won and comfortably. Frustrated that Cedric and Juanmi two big summer signings just don't get a look in. I think it is made more annoying when you see Mahrez, Payet, etc absolutely flying.
