Saints V Swansea First Half/Half Time
Saint Martini replied to Plumstead_Saint's topic in The Saints
Positive start from Saints. Keep it going lads! -
Is it a different commentator then normally on SaintsTV???

Well, I'm sure a solution could be found but Ireland is bound to the EU by international treaties and since there is no procedure to leave the EU if a country would want to it is to the discretion of the other members if they will let Ireland leave. The people of Ireland wanting to leave doesn't really matter so much. Besides that the economic crisis seems to have swung the opinion of Ireland in favour of the Lisbon treaty (58% in favour now). The expectations are that there will be a new referendum with some very minor changes that favour Ireland this fall.
-
Because numerous managers at several clubs have said so.
-
They'd have to ratify the Lisbon treaty first. At the moment there is no possibility of leaving the EU. If the UK want to withdraw good luck to them, in the end that will mean less employment overal. Its cheap rethoric that does strike a cord with people that don't fully know how the EU impactst their daily life.

Good player with a terrible attitude. I wouldn't want him anywhere near our club.
-
Not really surprising really and one of the senior/big earners player that I'm not that fussed about if he should leave. I guess that also means the Holmes injury isn't that bad? I guess it safe to say that he never really lived up to the hype.
-
On another note. Poor Gomez.
-
Ok, then now I'm properly confused. In the Netherlands there is this player (Waterman) that has been loaned out to ADO by AZ. He's played for the AZ reserves and ADO this season and he wants to move again but he can't because of playing for the AZ reserves and ADO. Why should that be any different in England? Is it because its second tier football?
-
That only goes for short term loans. The loan to Sheffield Utd. was an emergency short term loan I think and I'm not sure what his situation with Swansea is now but the short term emergency thingy doesn't count for some reason. So yes, Saga could leave but only if its a short term emergency loan.

New striker - signed? According to Dutch Media

Not coming, confirmed by Wotte. http://voetbalzone.nl/doc.asp?uid=72342 He's looking for another physically strong striker now. -
You are indeed correct, you can only play for two clubs in one season so unless Saga moves to Sweden or some other summer competition he will have to finish the season with us.
-
Since he's already played for two clubs this season I don't think he can be transfered anymore.
-
Good point in the end regardless of the other results. Now at least we can take something positive form this match. I really don't get Wotte though, all his life he's played 4-4-2 with his teams and now he manages a team in England and he Switches to 4-1-4-1?! Its not like the plaeyr wouldn't know how to play a 4-4-2. I hope he learned his lesson.

******* hell! I'm glad I didn't stop listning!

Holmes injured, right knee apparently. -
Jp and Wotte are two completely different managers, but don't let that get in the way of an argument.

Now a Dutch website is reporting that eventhough Wotte has stated that he wants to get Denneboom there have no been any talks with either Twente or Denneboom. I guess Eredivisie Live jumped the gun a bit. -

Sergio van Dijk?! He's ****e! Couldn't cut it in the Dutch PL so why would he be good in the CCC. -

In all fairness, Wotte never played 4-3-3 with his teams in the Netherlands. He always played 4-4-2, some maybe there's going to be a change of system anyway. -

Might not be a done deal quite yet. VI report that even though they got that Australian attacker he still won't let Denneboom go. http://www.vi.nl/NieuwsItem/FCTwenteNeemtTestspelerRukavytsyaOnderContract.htm -
You are aware that this match can hardly be described as an "A" international. The Swedes only had players from the Scandinavian leagues and I think the US only had local players too. Nice freekick though. But I'm afraid that he's already out of our league. He's had a trial at Celtic and several Dutch PL clubs want him (Heerenveen & Twente).
