My two pennyworth. Don't get much chance to see Saints live. Megson had a good game plan but didn't have the skilled players to carry it out. We plugged away and after 20 mins got back into game. Kelvin looked solid and defence cleared up well. Half time talk worked and apart from first 5 mins we dominated. Our class showed through. Lambert was very impressive my MOM. Adam is definately a cut above. Oxo showed his immaturity but also some flashes of brilliance, he so made the right decision by staying once we scored it was game over. Let's not forget that's 4 wins in a row at a very important part of the season. A win on Tues is not just going to take the pressure off us but will also put pressure on our rivals. Feels really good to be a Saint tonight!!!

Surely ( sorry didn't mean to call you Shirley) successful teams win games? How you define whether or not a team played well or not doesn't really come into it if you are winning. I really believe in football that success breeds success and if you can take the inevitable knocks ( Walsall etc ) you become a winning team. I feel so much more confident with this side and we will most certainly lose some more games we are expected to win. I do think we will finish in an automatic promotion spot. Today was a big win and with a bit of luck Tues night could be a big night for us as well even though we are not playing. Remember we are the team with games in hand. A nice position to be in. Championship here we come!!!

You guys are having a laugh. There are such echos Of Maggie thatcher. This guy will have us back in high unemployment begging him to let us work for less than minimum wage. They are going to undo all the good that was done previously for the working man. Believe me they only have the interest of the elite minority at heart.

All we really want is to be in at least 2nd place on the last day of the season. This is a most difficult league. Promotion will bring us a whole different ball game. If the owners truly have a plan then surely the money will be produced to acquire the necessary players and let's face it playing in the championship is worlds above league 1. With the right backing I have no doubt we will be able to attract the right sort of players. I believe the ride in the championship will be a lot smoother for a club of our calibre. I think with our set up we could go straight up into the premiership. We MUST get out of this division this season. Keep the faith, I have for over 45 years and I am confident that season 2013/14 we will be in the premiership.

Jesus I didnt realise it was the last day of the season......... Hang on a minute I have just woken up and it's NOT the last day of the season. Whew I was worried there for a minute I thought it was all over over but no I was just panicking. Oh silly me!! Will post again when it IS the last day!! Ron went on a run and O'neill spotted him and punted the ball over Ron's head and Ron hit it on the volley across the face of Corrigan's goal into the far corner of the net. One of the few goals I saw him score with his foot!! It was either the 70/71 or 71/72 season when City were after the title we ended up 2-1 winners. Also Terry Paines equaliser against Hammers after we were 3 goals down after 20 mins. Any goal that LE TISS scored!!
