Don't boo many returning players, but I boo'd McGoldrick. Very much has the big "I am" attitude for me. He's the footballing equivalent of Audley Harrison.

Lambert is also far too slow to put himself in a position where he might be considered offside

This. I thought Fonte was at fault for the first goal - Miller seemed to push it too far forwards initially, thought Jose could have slid in to knab the ball but completely missed it, miller squared it and Derbyshire slotted it away

Correct - straight up in the air on about 4 occasions. We looked a bit poor defensively. Forest were sh1t first half, but still managed two goals. We were a bit more resolute (perhaps lucky) second half, but no surprise given we'd completely changed our back line from the previous game, bar Fonte

True, but by similar logic, Lallana didn't score against Swindon or Torquay. Plus, by all accounts, it sounds like Emnes has had a great start to the season in general, and is joint top scorer in the championship.

Presumably as Marvin Emnes has scored 7 goals in 7 games. Can't really fault the statistics.

Very good question. Plainly put, we would have gone down from the Premiership eventually. However, our financial plight wouldn't have been as bad as we wouldn't be getting absolutely r@ped on the mortgage (well, not "mortgage", think it some credit note with Aviva/Norwich Union), and we probably wouldn't have gone into administration. However, we wouldn't then have been taken over, and we certainly wouldn't be on the up, like we are now. We'd basically be Doncaster are now, I'd say.

I like him. I don't know why, as he's not the greatest right back I've ever seen, but you can't doubt his commitment. also, I like the fact he's prepared to maraud forward to help the attack - we've had too many right backs of recent years that didn't go forward enough for me.
