It's a bit of a non-story since that figure was only the highest quote he received; not what he's paying. Personally, I think the lowest quote at £5700 was fair enough as I wouldn't even trust a 17 year old to wash a car properly, let alone drive it.

Create a spam email account solely for registering to these sort of sites. Some sites don't allow you to register with an email address that contains the word "spam" though.
