What about that moment in the 2nd half when Wollscheid fouled Pelle just outside the box and while the ball went out to the right wing, he continued to hold him back, thus stopping him from getting a chance to be on the end of the cross. If he was playing the advantage, rather than merely ignoring the foul, which he did for the rest of the game,why didn't he call play back and book him? In a list of shyte refs he is in a medal position.

I think you've missed the part where I wrote "he did an article in The Times". That was the reason H & J rang him up to discuss his article. He is not a presenter on talkshyte. He was asked about the article what he had wrote, which he would appear to "actually think" and I, you and several others actually agree with him.

Whereas talkshyte had Graham Poll on and didn't mention us at all as "there were no contentious issues in any of the big games. all the refs had a good weekend."

Just heard Matthew Syed on talkshyte and he did an article in The Times about the "competitive grieving" that exists in society now. He said that all this mawkishness began with the death of Diana and has got progressively worse and people were too frightened about being considered unsympathetic. He made a further good point about the league and clubs providing a response that cost them nothing.
