I disagree with your opinion because you have no idea what is going on on at SFC and his complete conjecture. However you may be right but all logic tells me you are wrong. Organisations I would have thought consult with people in them all the time I just want SFC to stablise and become relatively successful. Like you I am not very happy about the situation but hope for the best at least Pompey lost 4 0

I cannot believe that JP did not know Stoke were interested in Davies everybody in Southampton did but he will not know the exact situation every minute of the day.. I think he was being honest by saying he did not know exactly where the negoations were English is only his second language and he must struggle at times to get of his thoughts correctly in English. There is an interesting article on the OS Site As described above. Nothing is as straight forward as we think. I think the decision to buy Davies and pay him large wages may have been wrong

Yes I agree with you Also what I do not understand is why he is rated £2.5 M whilst Davies is only £1.5 Mill I think we should let him go for £2.5 M most fans think he is not a fullback and I cannot see where else he will play regularly. He could then be replaced by a Lonee or Transfered player

It is a really difficult situation the board now has. If we do not get income in for transfer fees we go into Administration. So we want to sell players like Rasiak Euell Skacel etc there wages are too high but nobody wants them which I probably agree with( I could ask why we were paying so much in wages for these players over relatively long contracts but that wont help anybody) We are then left with the only option which is to sell our better young players which will probably lead to worse results and less income from gate receipts which may lead to relegation and administration. Not an easy call

I do not think SFC unfortunately are bothered whether you and me are filled with confidence they just wish to balance the books. We obviously should never have bought Davies as we could not afford him

Alpine you are really a negative poster really anti everything which is going on you comments do not reflect the real state of SFC at the present moment. I am not sure why you are doing it but your comments are not really helping the cause. This not mis management at all part of the business plan would have consisted in getting in transfer fees reducing players wages and this is what is happening.

Mr Lowe is not paid to know about football he is paid to balance the books. Obviously Mr Crouch knows a lot about football but not a lot about balancing the books

Yes I agree with you Also if we had managed to sell Rasiak and Saga we would be in a better financial situation. Perhaps we could now loan Baird although his wages will be high I always thought Svennson / Baird is a better combination than Svennson/Davies If Davies is rated at £1.5 million it does not make him world class Baird went for £3 million so I do not see it as a complete disaster

The club is in a really bad state Mr Wilde stated during the week there will be ups and downs. Well this could be a down so we need to support the club and not think relegation and administration is on the horizon. We do have Svennson who I feel is a better leader than Davies. Of course I am not happy but there will be further ups and downs before things get better

I would take £4 Million for Davies it would probably sort out our financial situation I have always been a little concerned whether Davies and Svennson would work as they are fairly similar
