I hope we do but we need a decent experienced side out like we had when we played Sparta so I doubt Reed or Hesketh will be in the starting XI although Clasie JWP Martina Yoshi Targett and Long will be starting probably
-
Yes pretty much agree but I would have Tadic instead of Hesketh probably
-
Well Wenger is still at Arsenal twenty years later
-
Really pleased with him so far hope things keep going well
-
What do think now we are still in the League Cup and won our Europa League game and beat Swansea?
-
He is a good manager and develops players we have a good squad with young players who want to succeed so I think if we finish in the top ten get through to the next stage of the Europa League and do well in a Cup competition I think he will have done well then hopefully next season we could do really well as the squad will be more experienced .

Saints beat Crystal Palace 2-0 in EFL Cup. Sunderland at home next
John B replied to Hamilton Saint's topic in The Saints
In all three games? -
Yes I think we have done OK so far and drew against both Watford and Sunderland after going behind if I remember correctly Never thought we would get a result at Man U unlucky against Arsenal we have Boufal to come into the side and the players will be more confident now they have had time to play a new system
-
Why dont you stop whingeing and support the team We have a decent squad so lets get behind them and Puel who probably knows what he is doing and how to improve players.
-
We won that is all that matters especially after the Euro League game on Thursday I notice Man U did not It does not matter that some players played better than others because that is what happens until Boufal is fit I think we should start with Long and Redmond and then we can bring on Austin and JRod against a tiring team I am sure Long and Redmond will score goals in the future
-
I would expect Bertrand Fonte and possibly Cedric back in defence Davis Redmond back in too and maybe Claisie Apart from Forster VVD Fonte Bertrand and possibly Tadic there is not much to chose between the rest sometimes they play well sometimes the dont and it seems a good idea to rotate them Of course Boufel hopefully will become one of the certain starters
-
I am not sure you have a grasp of what the EU actually is and how it works
-
With all the whingeing fans on here I would not be surprised if she sold
-
Bit unfortunate but the situation was not helped by Fonte wrestling the Arsenal Player down
-
2 wins in 38 visits I think the last one in 1987

Lots on here believe what they think is true
-
The club's strategy continues forward It is the only one available so we need to support it
-
I think fans have to be realistic and we have to accept how the club is being run with an emphasis on developing players. It would be great to bring in big name players like we did in the 1970s but today's players at top six clubs are are on huge wages which the club cannot afford or will not pay.
-
Cobblers is never interesting I would have thoughtbut maybe to you? Not sure who they expect SFC to sign in order to make them happy. The club are not going to buy people like Remy and Bony that sort of player is not what they want. I still think we need a striker but finding one who is going to score regularly is very difficult
-
So you take notice of a couple who you have no idea who they are and do not know their knowledge. I have no idea what he is like or whether SFC are going to purchase him but I do think we need another striker as I am not that confident about Austin Long and JRod. Two have been injured and not played very much football in the last year and the other one does not appear to be that clinical
-
Why would the team not stick together SFC pay their wages I think they should do within reason what SFC tells them
-
Yes you are correct we just cannot possibly become a better team if we lose influential players and coaches so I am not expecting us to be as competitive this season but I can see this team developing next season to be a very good one. Perhaps we will succeed in Europe with the new formation this season as we were pretty awful in Europe last season
-
What about Sir Alf and Ted Bates hardly charismatic
-
Yes I agree it is disappointing but hardly surprising realistically it is impossible for the team to improve every season with new players and coaches and a new system but I do feel that this squad could be really good in a couple of years if we support their development and not moan and whinge. But being in the Europa League is not going to help either with League position
