Anyway selecting Chambers in front of Clyne last season was never right, shop window technique is the only explanation.
-
Any way it will be like domestic rugby during the WC and 6 nations, second raters everywhere and Notts County will probably top the PL.

Mrs T must have skipped the day when they were teaching that at Somerville, mind you she was in Chemistry and they're mostly nasty bastards .
-
Especially if they're moving it forward 2 years as well.

Can't get that drunk on a day trip to Wembley now can you, well not on Watney's Red Barrel anyway.

Ignorant Bear, a fish kettle and a tea kettle are, what's that expression now, oh yes a different kettle of fish. Probably comes from jockspeak or something mid 18th century.

How many penalties should a team get per season?
Window Cleaner replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
Probably about a third of the number they think that they should get, except in the cases of Liverpool and Chelsea where the proportion should be reduced to about one thirtieth. -
Top 5 schools ... no, your old schools ...

I bet you do, I bet you do. -
But in leaving them yours you'll surely put them somewhere near the base of the ladder at least. Plus a few years stowing away a bit after you've finished paying, isn't that how the world works now.

I thought that last time we played Burnley as well..now although I think we'll win I'm not venturing any further than that. They've had some good results against top sides so it remains to be seen.

Would Stephens and Turnbull not (eventually) qualify as club trained home grown players for UEFA purposes ? Did Morgan have the 3 years necessary with us between the ages of 15 and 21? Came in the summer of 2008 when he was 18 and a half'ish, depends what the age of 21 means really, don't know myself, if it's on his 21st birthday then he wouldn't seem to have the time necessary.

With a giant unit like Courtois between the sticks you can't just blast penalties, got to be a bit savvy about it. He's what, 2 metres high and a goal is 7 metres 32 across, half that 3metres 66, so just by falling sideways he just leaves you 1m66 either side to shoot at, he gets down very quickly and has good impulsion so unless you're prepared to try to slot it a couple of inches inside the post he's got it covered if he gets the direction right. Think he had about a 50/50 record on penalties at Atletico, comes down to right side or wrong side then, slotting it down the middle wasn't a bad option. Must be a couple of Courtois penalty save videos about, look them up, Tadic probably did, plus Toby spoke to him just before, insider trading like..

4 times 39 years, plus Cardiff,
-
I've seen them at Wembley 4 times already, W2 L2 plus 1 Cardiff....really a bit run of the mill. (Rattles bars to provoke the Wembley lovers:rolleyes: )
-
Some seem to want days out at Wembley, never seen the point of those really, I mean it's good but bog standard for those of us who've been there a few times already. Now Helsinki or Istanbul, that's something different.

Ings or Vokes no doubt.

Nathaniel Clyne Joins Liverpool - Official
Window Cleaner replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Aurier can play on both sides that's for sure, seen more of him than I have of VdW, in fact I seem to remember promoting him in a (or some) HCDAJFU threads. Probably on less money as well, not everyone gets a million a month at PSG, just the fashion idols and Qatarian binkies. -
Elia I can pass on but I like Djuricic, needs toughening up though, didn't he play for the U21s again yesterday ? Probably part of the process.
