  1. Got a contract for another year, who knows Koeman might give him a chance. the only players we seem to be able to transfer out are those you'd think we wanted to keep.
  2. Ah but you've got to reduce it to a 1/10 scale
  3. How do you know that it's him who's being economical with the truth, could be the club to cover up their ineptitude to get his situation sorted out.
  4. Now I'd not set too much store by any of this, weren't we supposed to have agreed a fee for the other bloke as well ? Then it turned out that we'd offered some sort of derisory sum apparently. So until you see the bloke on the OS I wouldn't worry about it.
  5. We could have done it in January perhaps, now it's too late, everybody has seen he's as good as I said he is. We'll get a championship level LB, someone from an England Unders side.
  6. Yes I know, every man and his dog can know that but in most countries employment law it should never be admitted by the employer or anyone representing them. I'm sure FF could give us his TU standpoint on this. Not that it really matters but sooner or later the club have to plug these leaks before it brings them trouble. As long as it isn't to the detriment of any player or other staff member it has no particular importance but once you get into HR issues then it has to stop.
  7. Oh a bit of transfer news in advance doesn't really matter, it's the internal information that's being leaked that most employers would care about. Still doesn't seem to matter to SFC, probably won't until someone sticks a court procedure onto them for it. "Shaw got a bollocking for the twitter SNAFU, everybody at the club agreed it's because he's a bit dense, rather than malicious." You see because normally you can't go around letting people know that an employer thinks an employee is dense.
  8. Depends when the club clamps down on sensitive information being leaked doesn't it. I hope my employer doesn't publish snippets from my annual reviews on the internet.
  9. Less than you'd think then, perhaps the 25 million figure is inaccurate or the original price we paid has been adjusted for inflation or that they backed off a bit when faced with getting farkall.
  10. Perhaps we have people with time to waste, like Ralphy for instance. Anyway here we are simply displaying our contempt for Dutch football.
  11. I certainly hope not, there are a couple of PL games before then and it's not with what we have left after the next couple of sales that we'll compete honourably in them.
  12. Take out the dross and those yet to leave and we have just about a team. Sad state of affairs really. Still no doubt we'll be signing like lunatics any time now.
  13. Lallana was 20 at Saints, Sharp was 11 I think
  14. Guly has gone, so has Fox, more will go.
  15. Is mortgage interest still tax deductable ? If so there you have your reason.
  16. So you might surmise that something was seriously amiss to make him decide on that course of action. To me the queue to leave indicates something nasty in the woodshed, then again it's just me.
  17. For the player coming our way no doubt.
  18. Highly likely. However I seem to remember that the last home made kit that we had wasn't of great quality at the outset. Perhaps it got better in time. Didn't the colours run or the stitching come loose or something.
  19. But we'll make a bit more profit on kit surely, I'm sure that's what Rupert told us last time.
  20. Presumably the players will have some sort of kit when they start training tomorrow, we may be able to judge a bit on that.
  21. Pushing the sale into a new financial year perhaps. You never know, we might even have made a profit and be liable for tax.
  22. I see that Martins-Indi is probably going to Porto, about 7 million £, wasn't he popular amongst some on this forum?
  23. He can but why would he want to do that.
  24. It's in the FA's interest to have the best possible teams in the CL. If you start giving a spot to cup winners you could end up with donkeys like Wigan and Birmingham in the CL. The better results you get the better chance you have of keeping your number of teams to the maximum, in our case 4.
