Is mortgage interest still tax deductable ? If so there you have your reason. -

So you might surmise that something was seriously amiss to make him decide on that course of action. To me the queue to leave indicates something nasty in the woodshed, then again it's just me. -
For the player coming our way no doubt.
-
Highly likely. However I seem to remember that the last home made kit that we had wasn't of great quality at the outset. Perhaps it got better in time. Didn't the colours run or the stitching come loose or something.
-
But we'll make a bit more profit on kit surely, I'm sure that's what Rupert told us last time.
-
Presumably the players will have some sort of kit when they start training tomorrow, we may be able to judge a bit on that.
-
Pushing the sale into a new financial year perhaps. You never know, we might even have made a profit and be liable for tax.

I see that Martins-Indi is probably going to Porto, about 7 million £, wasn't he popular amongst some on this forum?
-
He can but why would he want to do that.

It's in the FA's interest to have the best possible teams in the CL. If you start giving a spot to cup winners you could end up with donkeys like Wigan and Birmingham in the CL. The better results you get the better chance you have of keeping your number of teams to the maximum, in our case 4.
-
You've forgotten the Inter Cities Fairs Cup and the Anglo-Italian League, not to mention the Inter Toto.
-
£20 million=>25 million €, so if it's 12 million €+ player, then the player needs to have a value to us in excess of 13 million €.

Why would Marshall have a relegation clause, he was there before they got promoted, he's there after they got relegated. He might have earnt more money in the PL for sure but his status would probably be otherwise unchanged.
-
Now me i would have thought the main priority will be players that Koeman wants to have in his team. Now we know, or suspect that we know anyway, that keeping Shaw and Lallana was not a strong priority for him, LR told us that the new manager's decision would be final, so the fact that they're gone means he was non-plussed at best about them. We'll see about the others.

Adam Lallana and Luke Shaw sales; Good or bad?

Or if indeed it is all spent...well directly on the team anyway and not frittered away on peripheral items, like LED floodlights which aren't directly team related. -
Justly, Uncle Les seems to be obsessed with the England set up, he's trying to recreate it at SFC.

Koeman starts tomorrow. Not a moment too soon.

A few players have been signed with known injuries, did we not do it ourselves with the regrettable Tinman? -
Anyway it's not about money, it's about playing at the best possible standard. As I said the other day we could pay Messi a million a week but he still wouldn't play for us. It's about status, where top top players are concerned we don't have any.

The Board always say all the right things but then their actions tend to suggest otherwise. -
Shining for Zambia isn't particularly difficult, African football is oft devoid of any tactical nous. He who runs the fastest winneth.

I think the bosun's mate is now at the helm.

Wearing named football shirts don't make you look silly in any way at all then?

Unless they have release clauses, contract negociations aren't always a one way street you know.

Told you yesterday that he's as good as gone.
