Why are we not giving Sharp a chance?
Window Cleaner replied to Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd's topic in The Saints
Sharp is obviously available for transfer so the question you should be asking yourself is why no other club is giving him his chance in the PL either. I mean at less than 2 million there are a few clubs who might give him a go if they thought he was good enough. -
Can we look forward to Kouyate Tuesdays then ?

Medial 3 months Cruciates see you in April lad

we need to develop the Sinclair that we already have and not the Big Brother who took the Sheiks Shilling.

Yes I saw that, he's probably just trying to be polite instead of saying we lack status. Something we need to overcome in future years.
-
he isn't likely to sign is the current mood of the assembled masses on TSW.

Who is to be praised for the clearing out the deadwood?

only real hope of that would be France not qualifying for the WC I think. They've probably to get through the play-offs already. Deschamps is just a complete big club nut job. Today he's named his old chum Abidal in the line up for the friendly against Belgium, bloke has hardly played for nigh on 2 years but he gets the nod. Morgan has been completely passed by once again in favour of a certain type of player of whom Deschamps seems totally enamoured. Still wouldn't be surprised not to see Morgan in a Saints shirt come 3rd September, perhaps Rickie getting the nod at 30+ will incite him to patience. -
didn't Monk say something about him ? Reckon his source was pulling his udders all of the time.

no_one would be available, they're all on money spinners in Thailand and the US

Fener signed the Nigerian Emenike yesterday and as they're by no means certain to continue in the CL this season they probably wanted to get their wage bill down a bit. Olympiakos have no money and will probably not take up the option anyway. The low price and loan availability just suggests to me that we weren't interested in the player.
-
Stoch.....remember him ? has been loaned by Fenerbahce to Olympiakos. Buyout option around 5 million. Obviously weren't interested in him then.

Foster perhaps if England have a game, the various Irish and Scots and probably Lugano who'll be trekking off to Japan with Maya and Gaston.
-
offensive midfielder perhaps

Lyon desperate to balnce the books as per usual are now shipping out Lisandro Lopez to Doha, couldn't get rid of Gomis so they suddenly ship out their other main striker and keep Gomis, probably give him a new contract. Lopez isn't bad at all, will be totally wasted in Doha, still I guess he wants a lot of money and everything has to be squared away instantly in the Aulas system.

Very much as I pointed out on the "team for West Brom thread". Badly placed and totally useless round of pointless friendlies.

And in view of his international career he will probably be made to regret that for ever. Don't think he'll ever get a call up now, not while Deschamps is selector anyway. -
Heard that, but then he ditched her for a newer model anyway.
-
sounds like a source for some juicy scandal though even though it is probably totally unfounded.
-
dunno, Nans give out a lot of pocket money over the years.

that's the way they work at Lyon, always needing to balance the books. They sign players, keep them for a couple of years and sell them at a profit. Aulas is a nasty piece of work. He's currently trying to sue agents and possibly his own players just because Gomis didn't sign for Newcastle. When Aulas has decided you're next out of the door to balance the books you're out of the door to anywhere that will take you at his price. Look at Bastos, Schalke wouldn't pay so he was shipped out to Al Ain totally against his will.
