Worst case scenario planning: If SRL suffers a serious injury.
Window Cleaner replied to Giordano's topic in The Saints
Probably, don't remember, didn't see a lot of last pre-season, seen 3 games this time round. I know Adkins dropped him for the openning game though, that seemed to spark him into life when he came on against Citeh. Got the impression that SRL needs a bit of a kick up the ass from time to time. -

SRL getting a serious injury wouldn't worry me a jot. We might even score more goals; He's had a very average pre-season. -
Here we go! First Team line up against West Brom thread
Window Cleaner replied to Horton Heath Saint's topic in The Saints
the line up on the 17th may well depend on the international calls for the ridiculously placed round of pointless friendlies on the 14th. In theory we could have Gaston and Maya trekking off to Japan, Dejan in Lichtenstein (or is that Artur with Poland if so Croatia are somewhere else) plus any surprise calls for England,Scotland or France which are pretty unlikely. Still I suppose everyone else will be in the same boat except Utd and the Arse of course, they'll all come down with Berri Berri or Green Monkey Disease which will miraculously heal up just before kick off on Saturday. -
no that was JRod all by himself profiting from an error by a Celta player. He really need to tuck those away. Chambers did put in an excellent cross though which Lambert should have nodded home. Pochettino must be tearing his hair out when he sees chances like those going begging..... again. It's just like the end of last season. If we don't put them away in friendlies I see no reason as to why we'll put them away in PL games. Our strikers panic in front of goal. Van Persie or Rooney or Suarez would have slotted them with their eyes closed.

would have liked to see the starting XI (with the exception of Davis of course) stay on for an hour Not a big fan of the "impact players" getting a run out every game myself. Tbh our front men need to hone their scoring skills just now and the more they play the more they'll do that. I do hope the "technical director" or whatever it is that Reed calls himself isn't interferring to get the young players game time. Hopefullyy we'll see the first XI with a couple of late subs only next Saturday

probably want nearer 30 million for him but I don't think they want to sell anyway. Probably looking to move on Ba and Torres and keep Lukaku and Schurle
-
agent probably wants a few million cruzeiros just to turn up and talk to us
-
Arry"s "orse won the King George at Goodwood today, 5/1 shot, perhaps he'll drop his commission rates fortwith.
-
lolz would only move around like that if the monkey has big jugs.
-
nobody will pay 15 million for Loic Remy, loaned to the Toon as likely as not
-
my my what a surprise, club are obviously desperate to be shot of accident waiting to happen Lee but he isn't having any of it. Another top signing by...the transfer committee I suppose.
-
you've obviously missed the point, few tweets, cardboard box on your head=good bloke, your footballing ability doesn't come into the equation. Some have difficulty with calling a spade a spade in our day and age.
-
And coming from Clarkey that means you are really sh*t.
-
he'd obviously read the forum's opinion on Lallana's finishing ability.
-
perhaps 12 is for the 12 million we paid for him
-
don't know who over-rated him though, most thought he was dump.
-
not in Liverpool it isn't
-
tends to indicate Hooieveld won't be in the first game starting line up. Very few changes, guess the old numbering system was an Adkins thingy. See we've kept number 11 free then...Gazza gone from 12 to 25.

Basically you only have as much talent as the opposition lets you have. De Ridder came from low standard football and his talents were sufficient for it. As soon as he got to the NPC the opposition just didn't give him the time he needs to shine. I'm afraid it might be the case with some of our new signings. English football has the greatest density of good players in the world. A top NPC side could probably better a low level Calcio or Liga side on 9 occasions out of 10 just recently Midlesborough beat Bordeaux I think. De Ridder just wasn't good enough at our level of football.

Liverpool list of offensive words

but you didn't actually benefit if I recall correctly. Unless you've been down there again that is. In fact you might be able to get tax credits for some little known affliction or other. Limp Wick Hooker Syndrome must qualify as a known handicap. -
I see Michel Bastos (played against us for Schalke last week) is probably going to move to Al Ain. Even though he's pushing 30 that is just a sacrilegious waste of talent. Must be able to get better than that for a transfer fee of 4 million €.

I think Norwich are currently outstripping us so far this summer though. Their expenditure to date must be running at a little less than 30 million. 10 more than us for the time being.
