Had a look at my recording of the game and most of the slipping seemed to occur in a strip of the pitch just past the halfway line towards the Arsenal (first half) end. Maybe it was different in some way. Davis,Morgan,Puch and Ox (twice) all slipped in that band. All wearing the same coloured boots.

I was looking at picture 6.

I like the CB pairing we have already, we need cover not a starter. -
I don't know, I liked the way we played yesterday. Strangely enough NA turned the CM pair around again, Davis replacing Morgan and Morgan having slightly more freedom. Thought it worked pretty well that way because Morgan a weeny bit higher up shut down Arteta and Wilshere pretty effectively. He was also far too much a physical presence for Cazorla who was pretty poor, way below his usual standard.
-
If I recall correctly Morgan and Punch both slipped pretty early on, getting used to the surface perhaps. The studs on Punch's boots don't look all that short on the OS gallery photos. Maybe a different disposition or something like that.
-
seems to me Gaston dishes out more rough stuff than he takes. Lovely intimidation job on Wilshere yesterday. A true Uruguayan.

Probably thought it amusing to wind the fans up a bit with his first couple of catches (or not). Did what was necessary when it was necessary. Liked his quick throw outs. If he has a decent game gainst Chelsea we my have resolved the problem. Don't forget he's new to these balls. Seem to take a lot of time to adjust to.
-
Strange that Morgan gives the team talk in the pre-kick off huddle though.
-
Will be in goal or the Cup game no doubt and we'll see what happens.
-
said we watered it anyway as well
-
Morgan and Punch at least have worn Nike boots for at least 2 seasons now athough Morgan did have a brief flirt with Adidas for a couple of games last season. Some players just like new boots all of the time.

Reminds me of a Cloggies cartoon. Single leg Arkwright. -

Thought it was a fantastic match myself. Good all round peerformance. MOTM ? Morgan for the ensemble of his play or Gaston for kneeing Wilshere in the balls and the goal? Tough one. -
still they've got a couple that they can sell without too many problems. Granero and Taraabt are highly coveted in Italy and Spain apparently, places where work rate is not the be all and end all of football.
-
surely winterstop means winter break.
-
that would be good, bet the team isn't that though.
-
you can see why some might consider KD as a role model for Gazza though, he's already making the same kind of f*cks up.

for 600K£ he's probably got a wooden leg or something. -
which he no doubt will do when a juicy MLS contract comes along having re-established some sort of fitness with us.
-
did you call on the Vicar as well ?
-
what costs us the vast majority of those multitude of points isn't enumerated in the schema. Instead of 1-4-2-3-1 we have 0.5-4-2-3-1 as a rule.
-
Davis is evidently Nigel's first choice keeper, if he persists and it costs us points again and again it will cost eventually him his job.
-
Spurs need him anyway at least for the Cup and the Europa League. Lloris sometimes has off spells as well.
-
Might not be a bad thing, Cagliari's defensive record is pretty abysmal. Perhaps they're just crap all through the side though and one decent player can't make much difference. Still wary of Italian defenders in the PL though. Santon is a liabilty this season.
-
I wouldn't count on that.
