  1. Agent talk, can't see what Newcastle would want with him, they've got Ben Arfa in a similar role.
  2. Maybe the real one is even grimmer, only half a head left or something like that
  3. and at the end of the day the gate will probably be 1000 or so below capacity again. Will be interesting to see what comes of VFTT's mission.
  4. Waiting around for the next EPL manager merry-go-round.Spending his pay off from Villa. If I had to put in a forecast I'd say he'll go to Blackburn if they stay up.
  5. IPL unfortunately, we could do with him at the Rose Bowl.
  6. Lamentable again yesterday, when I first saw Hant's score i thought it was a rain affected game, didn't cotton on that we had been bowled out in just 30 overs. Got them at 47/5 and then the same old bowling misery let them off the hook. Absolutely no hope for Hants this season on my part.Shan't feel let down that way.
  7. rules weren't clear at the time of the West Ham case, only saving factor for QPR is that the affair only came to light when they were trying to comply with the new FA ruling and that it was before the start of this season. Still reckon they'll get -10 though.
  8. People are still voting??
  9. Work 0600 until 1800, third match in a row like that. After that home and look at the results and read the reports of the game.Although I might try a sneaky look in at half time, not always possible though, wasn't yesterday nor was it on Saturday.
  10. Time to make the results public(by clicking on the vote number)? Can't even remember how I voted, yes hopefully, certainly not no, dunno is a distinct possibility though.
  11. Plenty to play for in the NPC, QPR are going to get docked at least 10 points so they'll want to beat Leeds and hope Cardiff slip up again.
  12. because they don't have the sponsor's logo on them perhaps, don't think we'll play in the sash next year because most people have one but without the sponsor. Needs something that will make everybody want to renew.
  13. On the TV front it makes no difference to me, they only show PL games in France, in fact probably more EPL games on TV(up to 6 a week) than rench L1 games. The big plus will be that they stop comparing us to the semi-pro clubs that play in what they call "National" as if our third tier with clubs pulling 20K+ gates could be compared to theirs with their 800 persons paying 8 Euros a go..
  14. Didn't we lose out on the best pitch just the other day? came second to Carlisle or something like that.
  15. Probably Oldham away, they were playing well up until then, made sides change their game against us.
  16. West Ham and Swansea.
  17. Mid table with a play-off chance. Depends on recruitment though..
  18. He says he doesn't.Make of it what you may.
  19. We shouldn't need to worry about their injuries, none of them are all that much good anyway, think they've already sold any player of any use to man or beast. However they will be motivated, shouldn't have any problem beating them though.
  20. Doubt that we would expose ourselves to a defeat actually.Beating Walsall is a pretty safe bet.We wouldn't send Kelv forward for a 90th minute corner,Plymouth have far more to gain by winning than we have.A point is a point to us, puts all chance of Huddersfield going up on GD by beating Brentford 20-0 or something like that if we win our last match...which we will.
  21. If Plymouth are level at 90 minutes (or even a bit before) they will throw everything at us. Didn't a keeper score for Hartlepool yesterday in the 94th minute?
  22. It depends if you think that plymouth are as good as down though. If they could beat us then they'd have a pretty good chance of achieving a miracle escape next Saturday because we'd have to beat Walsall to make sure that we go up automatically. D+R could spoil that for them of course but as they're away at Posh it might not happen that way, Posh losing would probably change the order of home/away legs in the play-offs.Plymouth will be incredibly motivated for this game and I really doubt that they think that they are as good as down.
  23. At 45K a week and with 2 years left on his contract at Hull I'd think that Bullard to Saints is an utter non-starter, above all for a 33 year old. The very reason he left Fulham for Hull was about money and a very long contract which Fulham weren't prepared to give him. As Hull look to be saving money on him by all means possible I guess his final 2 years with them will be seen out with a series of short term loans. Not to Saints though because we won't pay 45K a week to anybody for the time being..
  24. Lack of knowledge or straightforward chauvisnism?
  25. A draw won't do Plymouth any good, they'll have to go for bust.I'd say that there is absolutely no chance whatsoever of Monday's game ending in a draw.
