  1. Did you read the article pal? Per Hughton, Gaëtan Bong has reported Jay Rodriguez for something that has been said to him. Do you want me to underline the operative word to make things easier for you.

  6. Stephens and Hoedt, bambis on ice, hardly covered themselves in glory either. But shocking decision by the ref. VAR can't come soon enough.
  7. Shocking decision by the ref but poor defending by Stephens and Hoedt and indecision by McCarthy in the lead-up. We sat off too much but had weathered the worst of it which makes the goal all the more galling.
  8. Assume Redmond is injured, not to even make the bench?
  9. Yeh hadn't seen that article when I initially posted. You're right: Walcott's not what we need if he's going to be played down the middle. Had based my comment on the various stories linking us to the Argentinian at Monaco who is more of a conventional centre forward. But they're clearly less credible than the telegraph article which is basically from the horse's mouth.
  10. South London, a proper shîthole that.
  11. Pretty odd evidence to marshal, Trident. So the market reacts positively in the expectation of a soft Brexit - basically an acknowledgment that the further away a potential deal moves away from the type of Brexit swiveleyed loons like you want, the better it is for the £ and the country. No s**t, something some of us have known all along. When God was handing out brains, you weren’t at the front of the queue, were you pal?
  12. Nice PR by Sam 'Shill' Wallace. The first four paras alone are about VVD. Need to get over the woe-is-me b*****ks.
  13. Sounds like we're looking at both.
  14. No Goa is saving his money to redevelop the land around the ground.
  15. Not sure it’s paying over the top - ideally his wages would be 30% lower but ultimately he’s based and proven in this country and that’s reflected in the price. He’s also been on the radar a while, so there’s nothing rash or reactive about this. He’s barely started any games this season, so necessarily lacking in match fitness and sharpness. But only last season he started 29 games and scored 19 goals. Many players have gone off the boil under Wenger in recent years, including Sanchez. Walcott isn't in that league, of course, and there are aspects of his game that are frustrating but he could certainly do a job here. I wish it was as easy as going out and looking for another Mané, as some idiots are proposing.
  16. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5260453/Donald-Trump-cancels-visit-Britain.html Poor little snowflake.
  17. The FT article, citing an Oxford study only looks at Russia's use of twitter whereas the US report suggests Russian involvement took multiple forms, including but not limited to Twitter. This claim may or may not be true but the FT article certainly doesn't debunk it.
  18. Yep Haller’s an interesting one - exactly the type of physical player we need and is underrated on the ball. I like players who’ve done the business in different leagues - demonstrates a certain resilience and adaptability.
  19. Farage channelling his inner Glasgow.
  20. Don't get so triggered pal. It's inane, harmless conjecture and a starting point for the discussion to branch off in lots of other directions. That's what mongboards are about.
  21. Black Box says no.
