There, I fixed it for you. It seems your mind has trouble with the concept of a future reality and continual improvement.
-
Funny that...don't wish anything bad on SRL, but there seemingly is something called karma.
-
Never fails! LOL

Thanks for the i nfo...sounds like a useful player and one that could work with RK's system. Did he play left or right? Regarding Hernandez, this would be a great signing for us I think...a proper sign of intent taking an international level player from Utd.
-
As said already, this would be a great signing, but the gap in fee offered to that wanted seems too great to stand any chance. This guy is almost certainly worth £14m so stop messing with daft bids and crack on.
-
Reasonably pleased with this signing - Ryan is a good player that suits our style and he's got something to prove. Disappointing that he's a loan player, however obviously an option to buy is a good thing and it gives MT a chance to develop.
-
So, another day gone without a signing...how inspiring.
-
Perhaps the recent player sales are being completed to establish a war chest to pay the FFP fine? With the PL/Sky money this must be close to £160m, so even if the fine was £1m, it would be a small price to pay. Nah, too simple eh?

The dream of retaining our best Academy products is over...no going back....it was a lie. The manner in which the Board have acted over the summer is incompetent. For some reason (ha!) We're finding it difficult to get new signings over the line. We paid out on more expensive ST's for a product that looks as if it will be flawed. Yep, there's much to be positive about right now!

There is something that could be done to assist. A ban on all clubs home grown Academy sales before the player turns 21. Sets expectations for all parties, allows the player to develop with his team mates, allows the fans to actually see the player develop and assuming the lad is English will potentially provide more consistency for the National side. Of course the biggest benefit would be a much more even playing field for those clubs that invest in a top Academy. This one simple rule could make a huge difference in restoring sanity to football - add progressive salary caps in relation to player grades and the sport would be transformed entirely (and for the better).

Where will we finish next season? Poll please mods!

This...no point speculating until we see to what extent we've been lied to in terms of re-investment of funds. -
This. But anyway, what the hell is the point of the Academy to Saints other than a money pit? Surely how it generates money matters not....let's face it, our young talent will likely not play much for the 1st team anyway before being poached!
-
Yep, I'm not confident that this bunch of clowns can pull that one over the line, but it would be a good signing.
-
Oh dear...Krusty Krueger has screwed up again?! Surely not?!
-
And the circus that is Saints FC just keeps on rolling on...roll up, roll up...Krueger the Klown in his best performance yet!
-
I simply will not believe a word that man says until we start against Pool with Morgan in the starting line-up and at least 3 decent new starters in the team.
-
Simple. Because it suited the clubs strategy to lose the highest paid players. This suggests he is complicit. This also suggests that this apparent debarkle was planned and executed...I.e. it's not an unplanned mess...it's deliberate and calculated. Make of that what you will!

So how many of you are really washing your hands of saints?

As Didcot said above - it's shambolic. I was probably one of the 1st to renew my ST. If the club offered a refund now I would seriously consider it. As they will not, I will live in hope through what will likely be a very sad season seeing the club disintegrate and then depending on the season and what happens next, I'll decide whether to renew again. All the signs are that I will get more enjoyment doing something else with my £730 - I don't believe in the Policy or Strategy of the club anymore so why should I support it? -
It will be a London club - he was letting people know of his desire at the awards dinner allegedly. This has been festering for months now. The Board have completely messed up.
-
In a heartbeat. For want of a better description, NC's departure might be considered a constructive dismissal - a fait accompli if you like.
-
I find it just incredible that this mess has been allowed to happen and when players contract have been in place. The Board - including KL - should have been in emergency session weeks ago to plot a course so that incomings were interspersed with outgoing players. As it is, IF there is actually any money in the kitty as we're led to believe (why should we believe anything anymore), the club will get taken to the cleaners by the selling club AND wage demands AND agents fees will be higher because of the ineptitude shown. Then there's the scouting team - 2 players identified by Koeman and they're across the line pretty quick. So what about the rest of the targets - why has it taken so long? I'll tell you why - once Cortese left, managerial competency left with him. Too many (poor) cooks have spoilt the broth my friends.
-
Jeez - this must be one hell of a rant to take that long to write out! Come on Crabs, I want to settle down for a TV dinner. What's left to say though? Saints supporters have been well and truly shafted by a Board who have blatantly lied at every opportunity. The club is clearly a shambles. As I said some months ago (to howls of derision) - #itshappeningbutnotthewayweexpected.

Yeah, I'm hoping my intuition is completely wrong too. Trouble is the evidence so far tells me otherwise. ):
