Any win will do. An ugly 1-0 having been completely out played and scored a dodgy last minute goal will be fine. We just need to stay within touching distance of the leaders while we're in this transitional period.
Personally I've voted 'don't know' as until we know who the new manager is we can't really tell if they're an improvement. Timing was pretty awful though.
I'd still like to see a couple of signings, and don't think it'd be a bad sign if we made any. The scouting network is in place to find us players so in theory we don't need a first team manager to make decisions on who to sign.
First day in the new house in London and no way of listening to saints player :-(
I wonder if they'd notice if I stayed in the apple store with my earphones plugged into a mac for a couple of hours...
Because, in the 5 fixtures that we also played last year, you have us getting 9 points less than the equivalent game last season. And, in my opinion, our squad is not that much worse than it was last season.
I agree. Plus, teams are much more unlikely to sit behind the ball and play for a draw when their in front of their own fans, who want entertainment, so this should open the game up a lot more and therefore suit us better.
